Well, I wanted to mount my Silencerco sparrow on my Ruger 77/22. So i talked to the local gun plumber back home while on leave, and sure enough he came up with a creative way to mount it.
Silencerco has a unique feature that makes it a little different. 1 being the internal oring just ahead of the threading to seal and keep the threads clean (thread job is 1/2x28 by.476 length, and first 2 rows of threads machined clean)
But this barrel threw a curveball at him, so he cleverly measured the internal shoulder just inside the suppressor body before thread engagement, and lathed that onto the length for a solid internal shoulder lockup.
Overall he did a fantastic job, and I felt the need to post up some of his work. Good guy, fair prices, and one of the more interesting Pacific North West gun plumbers I've met (especially since he's a retired army major)
