Suppressors Ti-rant 45 and Sig Tacops

Re: Ti-rant 45 and Sig Tacops

The standard .578-28 piston is designed with extra length to provide recoil spring guide rod clearance on hosts with a full length guide rod like the Sig 220. If the Tac-Ops has a full length guide rod, order the .578-28 standard. If it has a GI style recoil system, you can opt for the .578-28 short piston.

Re: Ti-rant 45 and Sig Tacops

Ok, thanks. Ill need to check with SIG on the style of guide rod. Everything that Im reading on the internet states that it "utilizes the traditional short-plug style recoil spring guide rod of the original for simplified takedown and reassembly"

Re: Ti-rant 45 and Sig Tacops

when in doubt just get the standard piston, that is what I did just so I would not have to buy a second later. Also the standard piston will keep the suppressor from blowing but so much crap directly into the slide around the barrel.
