I recently bought a new TRG 42 in .338 Lapua and began trying different handloads. It didn't take long to find the perfect one.

There are a total of 4 shots here and this was done @ 200 yrds. First shot was left so I moved 1 click right and fired the last three shots. This group measured .162"!(3 shot group)

Re: TRG load development results

hi All,
im a relative rookie but i have a trg 42 and am ready for some 600 yd and 1000 target shooting , ive got lapua brass shells , some redding comp dies 250 g sierra match points and 88.1 grains of vithori(european stuff) powder how do i find the velocity for entering into a data base ??? would this be a good target load??? thanks

Re: TRG load development results

What vith powder are you using? you need to get a chronograph to measure muzzle velocity. The 250 sierra will defiantly get you out to 1000 yards with ease.
