Hey guys I read an article somewhere that talked about a person who turned down the rims on a saum to fit a 308 bolt face. Wondering if this is actually possible and safe to do. I was thinking that there wouldn't be enough case support along the base of the cartridge, but could be wrong. I know the Beowulf has a large rebated rim but opperates at lower then normal pressures and I have been told that it could not be hot rodded or the case could fail.
