If Fonda committed treasonous acts in Viet Nam that resulted in the deaths of US Soldiers, then that should be death penalty eligible. Not sure it would be as "effective" at this point, since she's in her 80's now and has, in essence, lived a full life. Then again, I've seen condemned inmates executed for murder in their 90's.
It's funny. For a brief moment, I confused Fonda with Sigourney Weaver in re: Weaver's film "Gorilla's in the Mist..." which I thought of in re: the passing of Jane Goodall, recently.
