For able bodied individuals to spend so much time spreading their proclamations across the Internet about how noble and worthy of a war this is, from the comfort of their own homes shielded from the consequences of what they advocate for, is the most cowardly thing an individual can do.

No matter how anyone spins is this war can only continue as long as our taxes pay for it .

Ukraine own defense budget is cca 6-7billion$ on a good year (that is couple of weeks worth of war ), spent 300+Billion $ in our money only to end up in positions worse than they had in 2022, we pay their salaries, pensions ,and keep the whole thing afloat .Without our money Ukraine collapses in matter of weeks not months .

How does it end? About as well as it always does once music stops.

Iraq and other Oilstans have a easily tradable and very profitable natural resource that can pay for it ,those that don't stagnate for decades (Bosnia ,Lebanon ,Sudan, Afghanistan.......)

Folks that think Ukraine will end with some rebuilding bonanaza where out of the ashes rises some kind of Taiwan or Singapore are sorely mistaken most of economies that finance Ukraine are neck deep in debt and deficits , only reason financing can continue is that elites do not work for the plebs, typicaly once lights turn off , best case you get Clinton Fundation to run rebuilds.
Besides whole Ukraine reconstruction is a scam most of the cost is in modernisation of Ukrainian infrastructure and economy(not fully related to war) , 80% infrastructure destruction is in Russian occupied and soon to be Russian occupied areas. you know the places fighting was/is going on.

That money is not all Russian and most of it from non sanctioned individuals or businesses,, only about 60billion is kinda clearly sanctioned , Belgium that sits on it is not to eager on taking it as it will resoult in decades of litigation and when verdicts come in they would be on the hook for interest and damages. Other side of the coin is there are shit load of western assets in Russia as well , tit for tat counter seizure would force those companies to seek reinbursment by US or EU for losses suffered due polices. So its much more complex than folks imagine even without the reputational damage to 'debt financing instruments aka goverment bonds'

In any case its quite understandable that those not on the hook for the assets are the loudest in regards to confiscation , including formerly Biden admin as US held assets were like 5 billion in grand total. Most assets are in Belgium

Still haven’t seen much proof of what was destroyed. Only Sat images I have seen showed 2 Tu-22 and 4 Tu-95’s. But that was just one airbase and many were struck. See some drone photos and some stuff that looked like AI fakes

So until I see definitive evidence of what all was hit… if ever. I will be skeptical of the claims

Perhaps the cheerleaders have blown a small but effective strike out of proportion. And things will just grind along as they have been. Nothing too knee jerk. Russia will keep slowly taken land. Keep putting bodies on ice.

a lot of work for Ukraine. of course we paid for it and ran it,so,a freebie. doubt it destroyed much. i bet heads will roll at FSB. drove semis loaded with weapons all the way to Siberia,got real close to Russ airbases as far as Siberia,deployed with no fast reaction. As you can see if you follow the mapping reports Ukies are losing ground and methinks the amount lost could be much higher (aka the pace) but Russians have learned the lessons and are not pushing fully but rather methodically eradicating fortified positions using minimum infantry. As it looks Ukie frog will be boiled while still shouting their Bandera slogans and "at the gates of Moscow". A decisive full out blow would have spared West a lot of resources and kept a lot of Ukie scum alive. The slow grind basically destroyed almost all the fanatics, now it appears (leftovers) fanatics are used as blocking troops and cannon fodder is used at main line of contact. And Russian forces being rotated gained a lot of experience and most of all rats from inside got exposed and dealt with. Now if Baltic chihuahuas, Finn drunkards or Polish idiots try something (again i think its more bark than bite especially since people in those countries are certainly not as crazy as one might think looking at their elected leaders) try to do something, they will die in droves. US is a wild card as it appears that Trump might not be at the helm as poking nuclear thingies is never a good think - but again he might be the character of the "lets see what that red button does" type, he certianly is not "RTFM" type of char.
