I don't think they understand how war works. When you lose territory during war, it is no longer yours. It is not a concession, you lost it.

If they keep fighting, they risk loosing more.

Coups and wars have consequences.

Mixed thoughts about conscription. I volunteered 4-6 months after Vietnam era deadline.
