Was just looking at Sellier/Bellot site and came across this; EURENCO PLANT will be closing it's doors for good in June 2014. From what i now gather this DOES NOT mean that V-V Powder will go out of production. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused as this was not intended to start the same rumor from a couple of years ago. EURENCO is apparently shutting down "A" Plant, NOT the Plant that Produces the Powder. I apologise for any panic for anyone and you can rest assured i will not make this mistake again. My apology to all who may have been affected by this. .....SEMPER FI!

Was just looking at Sellier/Bellot site and came across this; EURENCO PLANT will be closing it's doors for good in June 2014. That means that unless some other company buys them out, there will no longer be V-V Powder for us to get. If you use this brand, you best be finding all you can get unless something happens for the better. ..... SEMPER FI!

Vihtavuori Powders -- Sales Strong, no Mfg. Plant Closures

6/4/12:

"There were some internet forum postings spreading false rumors that the Nammo powder plant in Finland would close and Vihtavuori powders might be phased out. This is completely untrue.

Adam Braverman posted the following this morning in response to the "rumor thread":

"This is Adam Braverman, Business and Sales Manager for Lapua and VihtaVuori in the USA. This is not true that VV powders will be discontinued and the factory closed down. There has been a down turn in the military market in Finland for powder, but the commercial reloading powders are doing quite well and will continue.

Thanks,

Adam"

Unfortunately, that was then and this is now:
