    So many struggling back at Scout. Things are going to hell over there. OneShot and Bogey are bout to have Puppies.

    Was over there a few times to see what it was like. Mostly a bunch of whining gear queers & safe queen owners, from what I seen.

    Piss on that place, I hated it since the inception, was just thinking how nice it would be if the old site was back (any incarnation, just not Scout!).

    Back to no religion and politics... That'll weed out 90% of the scout'ers right off the bat.

    Thanks for bringing it back, NOW do you see how special this place is?

    Well, we'll see. For now Tucker has the No Religion No Politics Sticky shut down/deleted that Frank had posted before. He relaxed the rules and it may cross over from what I'm seeing. Hopefully we don't get inundated with Trolls, I'll give ya that. And yes, this place is very special.
     
    Okay, so I borrowed a computer and it appears that the issue is with my iPad. When I click on the message box with the pad it doesn't give me a cursor or pull up the keyboard. On a real computer it appears to cooperate.

    Keep that garden hose ready, but if someone can help me figure out why my iPad is screwing with me, I may be in luck. I'll try to post this on the Update thread also to see if Tucker or LL has any ideas.

    Did you try the easy stuff like rebooting? Is the OS up to date?

    Bogey I wish I could assist with that, but I'm a PC guy, and not a good one. Took me 3 days to try and figure out how to answer my damn new cell phone. I know this is being addressed, so patience is key for all us.

    Frank knows that the iPad isn't working. He posted about it earlier. Give it time. Also, Taptalk works again so if you're on an iPad just download that shit.

    Poor Frank. I couldn't deal with the whining right now. The transition back here was seamless for me. iPhone, or computer, and Tapatalk all work fine.

    Thanks DarkSide, I think he became aware of iPad not running vb5 because of my issues. It apparently can't be readily fixed so I'm trying this Tapatalk BS.
    Best as I can tell it'll be a reasonable substitute for the short term, but I haven't figured out if I can send and receive PMs on it.

    I've found the PM function. It appears some photos or links won't open on tapatalk, so my current method is to read on the new site, then if I want to post I pull up tapatalk.
    It's a PITA, but at least it's something for now.

    WooHoo!! Never got used to Scout so mainly avoided it. Back to his and even was able to find my old login!!

    BTW, how does one know if they have "Full Membership Status"? I have a couple of rifles to sell.
     
    It's about time. I've seen other forums go to big business then it's destroyed and gets shut down for good. At least Snipershide didn't get shutdown for good. Hopefully it gets back to the way it used to be. It hasn't been the same since it went over to that stupid scout site.
     
    Hell it came up on Tapatalk on my iPhone before I read about it on Scout. I deleted the Scout app as soon as I saw that....

    Got it, thanks Redmanss. I never even considered Private creating an issue. I use it automatically and never gave a second thought. I'm up and running!
     
    Right On Guy's. It's on like......., you know. Still a few issues on my end but damn good to see you guy's making it over. Including some names I haven't seen for a long time.     Funny thing, all this switching and moving and Scout / CBS still has not contacted me since my initial request to speak them about the move back ?

    I had 1, 5 minute conversation about moving back over a week ago, they were supposed to rely it to CBS and call me last week, still nothing to this day.

    Nothing about all the cancelled memberships, the timeline to shut things down, nothing ... zero contact.

    I'm kind of happy I didn't ask which of us was the "bottom". I'm pretty sure both Oneshot and I are happy never knowing. Speaking of, has he made it over yet?

    Holy balls.
    I Just decided to pick up my iPad to research a problem I'm having with a Burris Sig Series 8-32.
    Haven't used the iPad for at least a week, probably more.

    The last place I was at with the pad was SH on scout.
    I opened the pad, entered my passcode and it crawled all the way back to the real SH on it's own.
    Is that frickin cool or what?

    I use a Galaxy S-7 to do 95% of my surfing, so they aren't linked in any way that I'm aware of

    Bout same for me. All I did was hit login and whammo, in with a bunch of my pm's still in place. Nice.
     
    Yeah, when I logged on with my phone the first day of the migration, I didn't have any problems there either.
