I have a B&C A2 stock and right now when looking through the scope, my cheek is just resting too low. I gotta raise my head quite a bit to get where I need it to be.

so I just wanted to know what my options were as far as add on cheek risers go. a link or email to the person to purchase would be nice.

I found that thread but apparently there isn't any mounting hardware to make it work right, so I'll have to skip on that...

the other one I found is the Karsten Cheek piece. I found only one place that carries it and it's 60 dollars!!!

Thanks!

Re: What are my options for cheek risers?

You won't go wrong with the Karsten or the XLR from your link. The Karstens come with all the hardwarde you need, but with the XLR you would have to measure the size and length of the hardware needed for your stock. That wouldn't be hard to find the right equipment for the XLR, just measure and go to Home Depot.

+1 A mouse pad cut into strips works great.

...And you can go wrong with a Karsten, It cost twice as much and those holes you drill in your stock are permanent. You will probably have to add set screws to keep it from slipping. Depending on what hardware you choose, you may have to carry wrenches with you to remove the stock so you can remove the bolt/ run a cleaning rod through your rifle.

Stick with an Eagle style stock pad, it is also 10x more comfortable than any Karsten.

Re: What are my options for cheek risers?

Do they have the eagle stock pack for lefties?

Only one I found is on skdtac and it's righty only...

Re: What are my options for cheek risers?

i added my karsten recently. i chose model B. its the ones with notches. its in the right position to do what its supposed to do and still allow my bolt to come out. it doesnt have the knobs so yes i will have to take a wrench to take it off, if i ever need to do that in the field. no set screws needed so far and i cant foresee it. i did have to shorten the screws just a bit to get it to tighten snug

order some targets or a cleaning jag or some patches. i get a pack that has 2 3" targets that are self stick. great for sighting in. there is something in that place you can get for a buck or two

Yeah I ordered a nylon brush. I only had bronze so that works...

Hopefully that eagle is nice. And .30-06 won't be too long for those bullet spots.

And hopefully I can raise up that cheek piece nicely. I have some acu kneepads that might work. We used to tape those up for make shift cheek risers. The mouse pad might work too

Re: What are my options for cheek risers?

You know, I can't stand fucking OP. Their inventory update is non existent. Just got a mail saying they 'just' ran out of stock and expect more in 7-10 business days.

Yeah 7-10 business days my fucking ass.

I don't wanna do any biz with them because this happened twice before from them. Their website says it's in stock, them later I get a mail saying it 'just' ran out of stock

Probably cancel that and get the more expensive one from triad imstead.

It's not that I can't wait, but the business tactic pisses me off. Almost lures me into buying only to say were out and well send it when we can

Triad reflects real time inventory, if the site sells you an item, it should be in stock. I say should because that leaves me some wiggle room for human error
