Maggie’s What are you drinking right now!?

Made a batch of eggnog with Old Forrester 1920 this morning. Put it in the fridge to sit until Christmas.
There’s no chance a batch of spiked eggnog is going to last until Christmas in my fridge.

I opened these 2 last night. You can really taste the oak on the back end of the 14yr Calumet Farm. I really enjoyed the Larceny Barrel Proof. I heard mixed reviews but I really like it. Love the flavor and the heat is mellow.

For the holiday, Plus my oldest son will be 21 next Saturday. Going to have a glass of scotch with him and pass on my grandfather's pocket watch.

Something different this morning. Still can't taste a month post COVID, so I don't know if its good or not. Bought it to get into a lottery for the good stuff.

Brewdog lockdown pilsner. Mid alcohol, and tastes good but the tiny cans drive me crazy. 20201204_173210.jpg

Sipping on 2 older Barrell Bourbon's tonight. Both are single barrel Cask Strength. 1 is the 15yr Limited Edition and the other is a 14yr store pick. Both are very good but I'll take the $79.99 14yr store pick over the $235.00 15yr Limited Edition for the money all day.

Don't get me wrong though, the 15yr Limited Edition is tasty as hell.

Tullamore Dew because I'm too poor to buy Lagavulin at the moment and it is the cheapest think I have found still worth sipping neat. Put away the Glencairn glasses and just drink it from a small ball jar.

Struck out on all of the local BTAC lotteries this year, damn the luck. Me and Elijah are having a conversation about it.

Cooking for tomorrow with a nice pour

How is this? I have not had the opportunity to sample it. I have had the 12yr and I prefer the Special reserve (green label) over the 12yr. I have been very curious about that one.

Its one of my favorite pours. Delicious. SR is good, but it's not even close to OWA or W12 IMHO. I like OWA the best but W12 isn't far behind in my book.

Homemade current wine, because, well laziness. I'm out of whiskey and the wine was in the garage and easier to get.

Thx for the info! Ill have to keep my eyes open at my local whisky bar for a taste!

Today is deadlift and squat day...so, probably ardbeg 10 year since it’s cold out.

me and my bro will finish the bottle before the workout is over and probably open a second...neither of us are cold weather types!

TX. Cask strength Bourbon 127 proof and eggnog.

Sacrilege Texas style.

Went to dinner last weekend n had a drink in honor of my grandfather: gin martini, straight up, with olives.

The wintry mix... first snow up here at the cabin in Blue Ridge , GA. The wife has whipped up some egg nog, which has been melding with the Four Roses for a few hours... soon she will blend in the egg whites... The Parker's is the best of this lot, at least for sipping
