So my financial planner (aka Kitchen 6, aka Laundry actual, aka if she reads this I'm dead) came downstairs this morning and asked, "whats powder valley and midsouthshootersupply?" I know the answer of course and defending is pointless because I failed to plan and made zero preparations, so I delay with "whats what?" as I slowly make my way for the garage door. No use, she anticipated my withdraw plan and her skillful placement of laundry baskets in front of the door had me fixed. With my withdraw route blocked I had no choice but to fight my way out. Her attack was well planned and rehearsed, I stood no chance. It was a fierce battle and apparently, "I had to, they never have it in stock!" is not a good answer to "do you think we should be spending money on that right now". In the end I was defeated and am now on 14 days EPD and restriction. Moral of the story is you can't return powder/primers and its better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission :ROFLMAO:.

Pay attention to her shoes.

When she questions your reloading extravagance, just comment on how cute one of her new pairs of shoes look and ask 'when did you get these?'

Just to be clear, my dishwasher has over 450 pairs of shoes. I'm serious, and I kid you not.

10 minutes ago, I was looking at an email from one of my suppliers. The had mini mills and mini lathes on sale. Being a smart alack, she says 'we need one of these. I replied we already have one, but ours is bigger.

She just left to go shopping, I'm going to go pull inventory in her closet.

One would hope your marriage could be stable enough that you both understand the other has hobbies that cost money and both trust the other to spend wisely on them and both discuss how much family income is available for expenses.

My wife and I have a great arrangement. First, she makes quite a bit more $$ than I do. (Principal Engineer and Office Chief) Second, our finances are in no way intertwined except for the house. We split up the bills. She pays hers and I pay mine. After that, neither of us question the other on what we purchased. So my PVS30 is unquestioned. When my new Katana showed at the door, she lifted an eyebrow like "what do you need that for?" But said nothing.

She's the best wife ever in my book and I didn't even get to her better qualities.

Not long ago, the wife was out and near my local reloading dealer. I asked her to pick up a couple pounds of powder if they had a certain lot#. She bought 9lbs, all they had of that lot#. Her excuse was I would need it sooner or later. I love my wife!

Not the same, but due to the recent crap going on, my wife and I both are currently “furloughed”. Her, earlier in March and myself just this past Friday. Wouldn’t you know that a shipment of powder and primers that had been pending for weeks showed up Friday afternoon. Not that it was an issue, but the timing kind of highlighted the situation.

On the plus side, I’m good for a while, so I can just load and shoot without concern for new expenses.

I guess I don’t understand a guy needing permission to buy something. As long as your bills are paid who cares?! If you need to ask momma for permission, you might be the submissive one. That, or she knows you’re not smart enough to handle money...?‍♂

Yep. Ditto.
cant quite grasp the cowering.
i mean do you like take your pecker off when you come in and hang it with a magnet on the fridge? Geez. I can see it.
”Honey, am I allowed to take my pecker tonight? All the other guys will have theirs.”

That "I just pumped the cat" look on your face is no way to go through life son.
Perhaps you were lucky and found a good one, they do exist occasionally. I frankly no longer give a fuck or wish to put up with any sort of bullshit from a woman. Asking for permission or begging for forgiveness is no way to go through life either son.

Now that's some funny shit........

Ever had an FN FAL break through a suspended ceiling tile and fall 8 feet to the floor when then whole fam damily was sitting around the electronic campfire and have to try and explain that ?

I didn't even bother to try. I was laughing so hard they thought they were going to have to call 911..........

Helps when you got one that supports your habits; i.e., yesterday I found a good deal on scopes and she suggested I buy two instead of the one I planned for. Couldn't argue that point.

No, I cannot say that anything remotely close to that has happened to me.

Unless you count the midget twin sisters hiding nekkid in the ceiling when my ex came home early from swing shift one night.

I have the exact opposite problem... Not one, but multiple packages show up last week from Powder Valley. So I open it all up and see 9mm components...
So I'm thinking WTF! I didn't order any of this so I start checking the credit card to see if there are any charges and the following conversation takes place:

Her: walks in the room and sees the packages "Sweet! Are those my packages?".

Me: "Uhh... what?" "you don't reload?"

Her: "Yeah, but you do"

Me: ........

Her: "9mm ammo is too expensive right now and I'm almost out so I figured you can just make me more"

Me: "oh.... ? ...Do you want to learn how to reload?"

Her: "Nope, I'm happier if it just shows up as completed ammo on the 'ammo shelf'"

Me: "So you don't want to help... just here make me ammo?"

Her: "Yep, just like when you tell me to make you a sammich"

Me: "Touche... :ROFLMAO: ...well played"

We can play keyboard warrior vs keyboard warrior and who’s got the bigger dick. At the end of the day, if your boyfriend don’t care what you spend, good for you.

For all the guys talking about how they have the perfect wife, I'm sure she is only "slightly" less fat than you. She also knows that if she says anything to you other than what you want to hear you will divorce her like your first wife, but yeah, cool stories.

Intrigued....how does one pay for said prepaid Visa cards?

Asking for a friend.
One uses cash that is hoarded by geting 20-40 bucks cash back when buying groceries or what ever. This "cash" is then used to puchase pre paid cards. FYI pre paid cards dont usually work for premium porn subscriptions. Or so I hear.

After last Sunday's range trip, my wife says "you may not want to shoot up all of your ammo". I told her I had that 1k round case of .45 that I bought before I started reloading. Then I bought an ammo can and loaded another 500 last week (that takes a while on dad's old single stage). Yesterday when I got home from the range she commented that I didn't stay long. I told her that only 4 guys showed up and there were only 2 of us on the rifle range. Plus I didn't touch the ammo that I loaded last week.

I think I need more ammo storage for rifle rounds.

Im no expert (of course I am) and our friend @Geno C. seems to be a bit wiser than to get in a pissin match on the internet about who has the shorter pecker.

We all know he is a fatass. And has no cool shooting stuff. And for sure not a cool old truck. And his wife is mean and nasty, they never have date night, and dont do cool stuff like shoot a match in the snow together.

As for the other stuff, best figure that out one way or another.

@tnichols i guess I must be responsible for letting the attention whore in on what it takes ?‍♂
@powdahound76 been a while since I’ve been in an internet dick measuring contest, but, I’m not opposed to whipping out if someone is really interested?

This is only because this place is lacking in entertainment and camaraderie. I consider myself pretty average when it comes to most things. I spend more on shooting stuff than I probably should. Not once has my wife bitched about it. We got together when we were young because I know a good thing when I see it and I’m not afraid to snatch it up without hesitation. Her family is well off and mine wasn’t. And once again, I look average, so it’s gotta be the dick that keeps her around.

Maybe it’s the insecurity of a small reproductive organ that make men stay with women that henpeck them?

Nah, I’m just fucking with you. I have a 10” tongue and breath through my ears! 7D37FAC1-7A26-4140-A30A-31C001549ABE.jpeg

If this exchange doesn’t justify the purchase of a decked out Dillon 1050, I don’t know what does?
I mean, it’s not like you make her hand wash all the dishes. You bought her a dishwasher.
