Where are the "Americans"?

Bottom line, we subsidize the workforce of the owner of that company

We pay emergency room medical

We pay for their food stamps and for the welfare of their unmarried baby mommas brood that dwarfs any Irish brood you could ever find.

We pay to educate their illegal little sponges

Our own poor are damaged by this refuse from other countries taking the resources we set aside for our poor

They drive down wages for our poor, thus diminishing opportunity for the poor we have hat might want to dig themselves out of the cycle of poverty

All arguments that are contrary and support illegal cheap labor are the same arguments used in support of slavery earlier in our history.

Trump is failing, all illegals got to go, every last one of them and their fucking little sponge kids.

VeerG this is criminality, take action and call ICE man.

It's all humanitarianism. Oh and over 80% of illegals vote democrat too

It's "no mames," Señor Analfabeto. And then "cállate," and "putiza," but you don't really mean to threaten me, do you?

Shit with all your guys quotes maybe I need to get back into the roofing business. I haven’t been a roofer in 9 years but made good money doing it. We were an all white 3 man crew in rural America. My boss had suffered two heat strokes so we started at 6 and was usually quitting by noon. Usaully 2-3 days to do a house. I was young and all I cared about was being tan and fit. I was in my early twenties. Being 30 now and out of shape some days I miss it. It’s not nearly as hard work as some of you think it is.

Sitting at the trailer waiting for the welfare check to show up. Jeezzzz

Hope the break in the rain holds for ya.

Yup not the jobs Americans won't do. The jobs Americans don't have to do because they are stealing our money and paying them to breed more turds

Issues and their answers aren't an 8-color box of crayons thing. It goes beyond supply of labor, competitive contractors, and demand. I found a great article on the subject that avoids racist stone-throwing and talks to facts back from '06.

https://www.mprnews.org/story/2006/06/01/roofing

I've got two smaller rooves that will need to be done in the near future, and I'll be asking labor source questions before we even get to price.

^ That's a good plan. There's several construction trades were it's fairly common for a co to basically be a broker for labor. The labor (loosely a co) doesn't have insurance or means to purchase materials. The worker's comp ins held by the co you hire often doesn't extend to the labor they provide. Jose A falls off the roof, he doesn't have ins, but can easily come up with an ambulance chaser. A. Chaser goes to the worker's comp held by the contractor and figures out Jose A is a sub that is not covered. Next stop is you and your home owners.

Edit: Write a contract, don't use a signed proposal provided by the company as a contract.

Shingling isn't terribly hard. I'm guessing you didn't do any flat roofs or pitch tear-offs...?

Veer, you could always do it yourself...

A little back story, Insurance company gets wind I have a 18 year old driver in the house and doubles my auto premium. We have both house and auto through the same. I, mad as hell, run down to my broker and demand a new, cheaper policy. They find out said 18 year old is a honor role student and drop my new doubled premium by 60 dollars a year and boast how much they just saved me... now I'm really pissed.

I seek out new broker and plan and find one with more and better coverage than before for 50 dollars less than we had been paying before the "adjustment". We switch over and new Insurance informs us we have to get a new roof within 30 days... Mind you this is late December and there is 6" of snow on the roof.

Long story short, I got them to give me till April 30th of that year. After a few quotes from roofers with bad reviews of the same from friends I decide I'll do it myself. Having only helped in a couple roofing projects when I was in my teens, 25 years prior, I researched youtube and seeked advice from an old friend with roofing experience. Confident on my new found PhD in roofing, I bought the best I could afford and this way over weight 40 year old roofed his own two structures over 21 days.

My valley's are perfect, I have proper ventilation now and an american who cared did the job.

Niles, I'd be dead by noon. But thanks for the suggestion. Or was that a coy ploy? :ROFLMAO:
