Which Trade Deal Would You Do? Please Help!

Hey guys two trade options i have... I Currently have a sig 556 swat with about 600 rounds down the pipe. There are two people offering trade options. One guy wants to trade a Turner Fabrication MP5k NIB with 2 mags for the gun straight up. One guy wants to trade an FN five Seven with 5 mags plus 400 bones for the gun. What would you do? Anyone heard of Turner Fabrication? They sell on atlantic firearms for 2,469 dollars. Yall think I could re sell it for 1,500 or 2k? Or would you take the five seven worth about 850 bucks with the cash on top? I'm beating my brain to death trying to decide...thanks for the help!

It would be helpful if we knew why you wanted to trade the Sig556 in the first place.

Seems to me you can buy a new Sig556 around $1500 or less, why would a guy with a supposed $2400 rifle trade even for a used Sig556?

Well, the guy that wants to trade me works with the main builder of the MP5's... its not worth that much money to him. Its actually being built right now. Retail, from atlantic they cost that much. Does that make sense?

I want to get rid of the 556 cause im bored with it. I either want money or something else fun to play with. I use my AR15's too much to even think about shooting the Sig. They are so much lighter to throw around at the tactical matches.

Then I would trade for the MP5, the Five Seven aint that much fun (and you can get one anytime) and it looks like it would be lots of fun.

You think that mp5k is really worth that much? Do you think I would be able to get my money out of it in the future? at least as much as I could get for the sig?

Well, I personally dont like to sell guns unless I am upgrading but you said you were bored with the sig and wanted something fun. The MP5k will be fun and probably worth as much as the used sig and espescially so if its NIB.

thanks for the opinions guys... i think i might go with the mp5... but im not sure yet. I do think it would be more fun than the five seven though...

It would be nice to be able to sell it for more than i could the sig...


do yall not think the five seven is worth having? or is the mp5k just a better deal?

The problem is... no one is buying used sigs right now cause they have 300 dollar rebates currently..... that's why I was thinking about trading now. I think I might do the mp5...

you know what your doing is technically illegal and requires an FFL? If you buy guns with the intent to resale them for a profit you must have an FFL. ATF frowns upon people buying guns then flipping them.....

thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard and if the ATF comes after me for owning a gun for a few months and having some fun with it and shooting it and owning it and then reselling it someday, then i know a ton of people that must deserve to go to jail. that sounds absurd. Im not a dealer at all, im an individual that likes to shoot guns for fun at targets and loves to hunt. No big deal.

5.7's got through stuff like it's soft butter(think about it)
MP5's are ok, but I would go with the 5.7 if you really want to trade down. The Ger5.7's liked them a lot for a PSD gun,the German Soldiers I saw and shot with that had the 5.7's liked them. They said they were solid guns even though teh bullet was so small. They also verified that that little screamer went through stuff real good too. The PPW I shot was lots of fun and man it hid well

I think im gonna do the mp5k and sbr the thing with a foldable stock and put optics on it... I would rather have an HK tactical handgun if I got something fancy or a 1911. I think i made up my mind. thanks guys
