Wiley-X SG-1 / how do they compare to the XL-1

I've been using the Wiley-X XL-1 models for a few years. I've had great luck with using these for shooting, riding and general outdoor activities. They aren't the most fashionable things, but damn, they fit great, can take a beating and the goggle option is really handy.

I leave the removable strap on all the time, so I'm thinking about just going with the SG-1 models, since the strap looks like it is integrated right into the frame.

It would be helpful if I could get some feedback on these as I'm sure a lot of our members have used these overseas. Do the SG-1 and XL-1 models have the same shape and fit? Are they essentially the same model with different strap set-ups?

SG1's are removeable strap too.

Personal opinion, XL>>>>>>>SG. I use the XL for riding and have been issued the SG a few times going to the desert. SG constantly fall apart and just feel flimsy.
