New Optic. Help me spend my money.

Team.
Looking for some insight. Currently running a USO B17 with H102 reticle. Know I’ll catch some hate but love the optic and reticle. Works perfectly for my primary mission of killing animals out to 600m.
Usually kill 75+ pigs a year, a few deer, and an elk. Ranges from 50m to 600m.
However. Glass quality is lacking. Tried to shoot a pig (BIG FUCKER) at 750m at last light and had a lot of trouble picking it up in the scope. This is my primary weapon, a 6.5cm AR that puts meat on the table. I also enjoy shooting steel out to 800m on a regular basis with it as I build my wind reading skills.
Traded in some shit I wasn’t using and have a preferred budget of around $2500.
Want to keep the USO to gift to one of my sons, so can’t trade in.
Missed out on a used Kahles 525i that would have been perfect at my LGS.
As I’ve gotten older would like a little more magnification, so thinking at least 5-25 range.
Weight is a consideration. Could have gotten a great deal on a gen3 6-36 vortex razor, but it’s a heavy pig, and think the 6x low end will be too high. Also reticle is too thin on edges.
Needs a tree reticle. Prefer center dot.
Considerations:
Kahles dlr 525i at top of list but over budget. Yes can wait and save more, but looking for options I might be missing. If glass quality is that much better I’ll save and wait.
Zeiss LRP S3 4-25 currently at top of list.
Leupy Mk5hd 5-25. Love the weight. Son has 3-18 but don’t think glass is any better than current USO.
Also currently running 34mm rings and would prefer not to change if don’t need to.
Can get veteran pricing. Sons can get active duty pricing but trying to go through LGS to use store credit.
NF 4-32?
Anything else I’m missing?
Appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

That's what this guy says and he may be right. I hope Trump tell China that the next nation to use biological warfare will get 1000 American ICBM's in exchange.

List of "Conspiracy Theories" proven to be correct

Looking to start a collection/list of "Conspiracy Theories" perpetrated by the Left/Media that have been proven to be true. Examples: Russia Gate, Hunter's Laptop, etc. If you have anything please share it. I know that there are some good graphics and memes out there, but with all of the internet censorship and filtering, they can be hard to find. Thanks in Advance!

Car/Truck Lift

Looking for info, options, and recommendations for an auto lift. This is for private use, although I suspect word will spread and it will get used a bit, maybe even as side hustle doing vehicle maintenance. Who knows.

A. Needs to be able to lift a Chevy crew cab duramax 4x4. (Not sure the vehicle weight)

B. Must be a two post, (Does not want a 4 post)

C. There is no restriction on height, we have very high ceiling.

So, the questions…

1. 10,000lb or 12,000lb? Or?

2. Asymmetrical vs Symmetrical ? Pros and cons? (We may want to be able to put vehicles in either direction)

Brands?

Thanks for reading!
Thanks for any input!

Hey fellas, not exactly a sniper rifle but looking for some M1 Garand help if you have the experience...

1733386712253.jpeg

Over the past 2 years or so I acquired a couple of Garands from the CMP, all "expert grade". The one that I've been fooling around with is an IHC (depicted above) but I've been having some challenges getting it to feed properly.

I'm using newly manufactured enbloc clips that I purchased from ammogarand.com, and have used Garand specific factory ammunition to replicate the M2 ball ammunition from Federal, S&B, & Winchester and keep running into the same feeding problems.

The "expert grade" M1 Garand from the CMP is supposed to be pretty much gtg, new stock, new barrel, etc. but I've got to say this rifle is just giving me a world of issues to get it to feed properly and I don't think I've ever gotten a proper 'ping' from it yet after... 150-200 rounds by my estimate.

I've been trying to research this phenomenon and all of the suggestions seem to point to a weak ejector spring but as far as I can tell, the spring seems to be practically brand new and working properly.

The rifle is also properly greased (using Moblie 1 Synthetic in case anyone would care to ask) but I'm still not getting that desired ping/proper function from this particular rifle. So I'm reaching out to the experts here on how to get this warhorse back in the fight...

Could it be that all of the newly manufactured Enbloc clips are what's giving me fits or is there something incredibly basic/obvious that I'm just missing?

US Optics?

Good morning all. I sent in a B25 for warranty service. It was received at the factory on October 15th. Prior to this, I had never had a problem with getting ahold of tech support or customer service by phone or by email. I always had a response withing 24hrs. They suggested a 4-5 week turn around for the repair. Its been 7 now and I have not been able to get ahold of anyone, by phone or by email. Has anyone heard anything about the company in general recently?

Rimfire Modacam B14R BA

Thinning the herd to fund a new 6mm. Have my B14R done by Modacam. It has a 24” Kreiger barrel with a 1:16 twist with a 1.2” full barrel. The bolt has been polished, lift ramp contoured, and Crossroads Precision aftermarket parts. Will come with a Timney Hit currently set at 5.5oz but is adjustable obviously. None of the chassis are included but are shown as examples of how it fits in an ACC elite.

Will include 3 B14R mags. One standard, one with +2 L3I ext, and one with Hoz & Shield +5.

I actually got this rifle from Josh on Pursuit of Accuracy. It is a laser beam! The BA is the exact one shown in the video below;

thoughts on 338 ARC. Worth a nice action/barrel?

I've been enamored with shooting subsonic suppressed lately. I've also been enjoying shooting with my 12 year old son and it's great if neither one of us is making a bunch of noise. I know it's early but what are your thoughts about the cartridge, do you think it's worth spending time and money getting a nice action/barrel, or would there not be enough benefit and is the cartridge more suited to a less expensive mass produced rifle?

I know the cartridge was designed for ar-15s, but I'm more interested in a bolt gun. I have a 6 arc bolt and having tons of fun with it.

Judges Reject Washington State’s Effort to Shut Down Federal Deportation Flights.

A federal appeals court has denied pleas by a Washington state county government that claims it has the right to block ICE deportations of illegal migrants to satisfy its liberal “sanctuary” policies.

On Tuesday, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in California ruled against the “sanctuary” jurisdiction of King County, in Washington state, where county officials tried to prevent U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) from using a local airport to facilitate deportations.

King County officials insisted that since they were a so-called “sanctuary” county, they could legally stop Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from using King County International Airport as a base to ship illegals out of the country.

The airport is close to a major ICE operations base outside of Seattle, and the office had been using the airport to facilitate deportations since 2012, however in 2019, King County Executive Dow Constantine doled out an executive order that made the airport off limits to ICE. The order caused ICE to shift its deportations elsewhere causing extra logistics and a corresponding rise in operating costs.

The then-Trump administration sued the county and maintained that deportation was a legal federal activity, and the county had no constitutional right to take away its use of an airport given to the county after WWII by the federal government and interfere in ICE deportation actions.

In the case The United States v King County, Trump’s administration cited the Supremacy Clause’s intergovernmental immunity doctrine and a World War II-era Instrument of Transfer agreement allowing the federal government to use the airport in King County, Just the News reported.

Now, in this month’s 29-page ruling, the three-judge panel at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with the federal government and ruled against the county and its citing of its “sanctuary” policies as a basis to stop deportations.

In the decision, the judges ruled that the federal government had Article III standing to sue King County and “had two related concrete and individualized injuries.” One of those injuries is “the inability to conduct the charter flights – which has increased ICE’s operational costs – constituted a de facto injury that affected the United States in a particularized, individual way.”

The court added that the second injury was that it was obvious that if there was no county order, ICE would continue using the airport and that the injury it sustains by the county’s ban of airport use is “likely, as opposed to merely speculative.”

The county’s order violated the intergovernmental immunity doctrine because it “improperly regulated the way in which the federal government transported noncitizen detainees by preventing ICE from using private FBO contractors at Boeing Field, and on its face discriminated against the United States by singling out the federal government and its contractors for unfavorable treatment.”

This court, which is usually a bastion of left-wingery, essentially laughed the King County case right out of court with its ruling which is filled with stark language taking King County to task for it obviously flawed take on the law.

This order is notable as it is a major chink in the armor of so-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions that have thus far claimed they have an absolute right to interfere in immigration activities based on their supposition of “home rule,” or the idea they have a right to make their own local laws and regulations irrespective of federal rules and regulations.

This ruling could easily form as the basis to undermine a lot of the shady claims and rules put up by “sanctuary” cities, counties, and states, should those who oppose sanctuary policies choose to cite it at a precedent.
