Im guessing this is over gassed?

Im at 42.9 of varget (1.1gr below book max) on a suppressed PSA rifle length, rifle buffered LR308 firing hornady 178s. Its destroying the rims. Lantac enhanced bcg and superlative arms block opened all the way. I even threw in another tungsten weight in the buffer for a total of 6.4oz. Rough chamber maybe? I scoped it once and don't remember seeing anything out of the ordinary.

BREAKING: Terrorist mass stabbing in Israel stopped cold by multiple pistol carrying pedestrians.

HADERA, ISRAEL. OCTOBER 9, 2024

A man later identified as an Arab Muslim citizen of Israel went on a terroristic rampage early Wednesday morning stabbing pedestrians at random while riding around on a moped. Six people were wounded with two in critical condition before several armed pedestrians cornered the assailant. They shouted at him in Hebrew and Arabic to drop his weapon and surrender but received no compliance from the crazed knifer, with at least two of the armed pedestrians opening fire. Minutes later, a Hadera police officer arrived on scene and cuffed the subdued terrorist while shouting at the pedestrians to "stop any further shooting" and that the situation was under control. It is not known if the perp had sustained any hits but he was taken down and dogpiled by armed civilians before police arrived on scene and many more people had been saved.

This latest attack comes on the one year anniversary of a series of Barbary Coast pirate style raids on Oct 7th, 2023 when Hamas terrorists infiltrated southern Israel by the hundreds, killing over 1,400 civilians and soldiers alike and taking hundreds of hostages. Ever since then, Israel had relaxed it's firearms ownership rules and could have possibly further expanded concealed carry provisions by licensed pistol owners, two of which are credited with stopping a would be knife massacre cold in it's tracks this morning in Hadera.

Justice Alito Wrecks ATF’s ‘Ghost Gun’ Argument: Are Eggs and Peppers an Omelet?

Justice Samuel Alito wrecked the government’s defense of the ATF “ghost gun” rule during oral arguments Tuesday by asking if eggs and peppers are an omelet.

Breitbart News reported that the case is Garland v. VanDerStok, and it is focused on ATF Final Rule 2021-05F. A central part of this rule was redefining what the word “firearm” means so as to designate “partially completed pistol frames” and other gun parts as “firearms.”

Justice Alito asked about “components” and the way they are defined in relation to a “weapon.”

He asked, “Here is a blank pad and a pen. Is this a grocery list?” The government answered no, citing numerous uses for the pad and pen.

He followed up by asking, “If I put on a counter some eggs, some chopped up ham, some chopped up pepper and onions, is that a western omelet?” The government again answered no, again citing “well-known other uses” for the eggs, ham, etc.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett followed Alito by asking if the omelet analogy would change if the ingredients were purchased from Hello Fresh. The government answered in the affirmative.

Justice Neil Gorsuch followed up, asking about the scope of “ordinary meaning,” as applied to “every noun” used by Congress or the U.S. Code — if it can be used to see Alito’s pad and pencil as a grocery list. Therefore, Gorsuch suggests there “has got to be a line that makes [the government’s] theory the case.”

Gorsuch noted that as recently as 2021 “the government represented that an unfinished frame or receiver does not meet the statutory definition of a firearm.”

Sidearms & Scatterguns Gun shop score, I think…

This little feller followed me home today and I’m almost sure this Ruger has genuine ivory grips. I was wondering if any of you know more than I do and could confirm.

I have a Colt with genuine elephant ivory and they have some of the same characteristics but I’m not sure to be honest.

NOS GAP rifle i forgot I had.

Purchased a GAP 6mm Creedmoor some years ago for PRS, etc. Shortly after I went through a divorce, moved into a new house, etc.
Lots of stuff got put into boxes, etc. and out of sight out of mind.

I recently was going through stuff and rediscovered the rifle.

I have no plans to shoot it and am wondering if GAP rifles are still popular.

Plan on selling it but just wondering if they are still popular?

Thanks

Bravo Zulu to our own Bohem!

A job very well done by Josh Kunz, aka @bohem , of Patriot Valley Arms in helping the people of NC during this disaster down here. Flying his plane down to deliver much needed supplies. Great job Josh!
