I bought a cnc machine off craigslist. For $900. Then fixed some shit and upgraded it. Used it to cut the stock.


A neat way to fixture a stock like this is to use a build plate and screw the action screw pillars into it. I opened the hole a little to the halfway mark and it captured the screw heads perfectly.

Then I made some fixing posts out of brass inserts with heat shrink tubing to be in full contact with the stick. Tighten a countersunk head screw in the table and it will push it against the stock hard. No movement now.

Pant shitting time.


That post is cut smooth.



When I tapped it on with a Gracey hammer it left contact marks on the full circumference of the bottom metal. Not bad.

Shit. The height is off by .0015.

Plan on full length sizing - which die model & manufacturer? Always have used standard Lee dies but wondering if better dies should be used
Any point in getting a collet necksizer? I use it on 300 WinMag because I use a body die on that cartridge.
Which seating die? I have used Forster & Redding micrometer dies. Also, could a 308 seating die be used for a 6.5 Creedmoor?
Plan on getting a Little Crow case trimmer.
Plan on getting a Hornady modified case to measure bullet jump.

I have been working hard, granted mainly behind the scenes to improve the user experience and how this site runs overall, then in-between that and my classes, I have been working to bring you new content as fast as I can. So busy is a word, distracted as to what is going on day to day here is a bit more accurate.

I take a cursory look, it's a mess, I delete the post and then all hell breaks loose. I get a call from the company, I get an unsolicited call from the member (which I absolutely hate) and I go in and restore everything. I talk to them, I talk to him, I figure it's all sorted out. Sure the sides have issues, and to be perfectly frank, I am not 100% buying the customer's story, but you have to entertain it enough to make it right. Apparently those attempts to make it right were not enough for you all.

Playing team sports to burn a sponsor down is not gonna fly, and bunch of long time members and big talkers are in for a 2 week break. Especially the ones that decided to follow the sponsor to other forums and make sure the fire jumped to those fields too. Bad move, and I will absolutely toss a few over it. And DAN you are the biggest piece of shit in all this, you won't leave, you won't shut the fuck up, and all you do is act like a troll here. We ban every account and all you do is make more. Why the fuck would you attempt too wreck a company in this day and age ?
