Bench setup and workflow help

Im new to reloading and finally working on getting my bench setup. I want to make the best use of my space as this is where I’ll setup new rifles and do all my cleaning. The left wall with outlets is all wood and sturdy so I can mount whatever to it, along the back of the long bench there’s an 8-9” gap due to the pillar so I can build shelving of some sort to take up that empty space as well.

I have a rock chucker I’m planning on only setting up with my ugly priming tool, a Forster coax for everything else and a Henderson trimmer. I want to keep all that stuff on the short bench but I’m not sure if I should hard mount all, none, or somewhere inbetween using something like inline fab stuff. One thing is I’d like to get the rock chucker on a riser and leave the other 2 flat. I can put the scale on the long bench where press movement won’t affect it since I didn’t mount the 2 benches together. Recommendations would be appreciated

Sidearms & Scatterguns Anyone own a Korth?

Anyone own a Korth or few, ideally that shoots it a good bit? Or at least been around some with high round counts? How have they held up?

I’m thinking about buying an NXR 6” and curious about long term reliability. I see people mention their reliability but never mention round count and they usually look like museum pieces.

SOLD NIB Burris XTRIIIi 5.5-30x56 SCR2 MIL (2)

Brand new scopes. I bought these for my son and I, but decided to upgrade us ZCO 8-40's instead. One is still factory sealed, and the other is brand new. Opened and looked through, but never seen the outdoors. These are the illuminated versions. Excellent scopes, but obviously not ZCOs. The one that was opened also has the full size windage knob so I assume they both do.

$1150 EACH shipped and insured via Paypal F&F, Venmo, or Zelle.

From 100yd zero Holdover at 25yds measures 1.50 inches but it takes 2.0 MILS. Why????

My Browning X-Bolt Max Varmint/Target is zeroed at 100yds. To hit zero at 25yds I want to holdover because I want to retain the 100yd zero for shooting 625yds at Pala shooting range. Upon firing the rifle at 25yds indoors the point of impact is 1.50 inches low as measured by calipers. So knowing that 1MIL is 3.6 inches at 100yds that means at 25yds 1MIL would be 1/4 of 3.6 inches or .9 inches. To move the point of impact 1.50 inches up, doing the math says I would need to holdover about 1.7 MILS which would mathematically be 1.53 inches which is as close as I can get to 1.50 inches. However, It takes a holdover of exactly 2.0MILS to hit dead center at 25yds. We all know that 2.0 MILS at 25yds is exactly 1.8 inches which is 0.3 inches more than 1.50 inches. What is going on here?????
Here is the 100yd target with red bullseye and the 25yd target showing point of impact of crosshairs and 2.0MILS holdover.
My question to the cognoscenti is WTF????

Rifle Scopes Razor gen 3 upgrade

I've been really thinking about upgrading my razor gen 3 but not sure if it's worth the squeeze. Richard from CST pointed me in the direction of the zco527. This is a lot of money to me to drop on a scope so I figured I would ask the hide there opinions and people who have both or have the higher end of scopes. I've been around ATACR and looked threw a zco 5 years ago for like 1 min so I have no experience.

I shoot elr style matches that's it. I like the razor gen 3 but this is the only rifle I own and so I figured I mine as well have the best I can can since I'm limited to 1.

LMT .308 on the cheap? Did I screw up?

I walked away from one hell of a deal yesterday. LGS had an LMT .308 with a Vortex Viper Scope stabbed in a Warne Mount for sale for $1995.00. I am a regular customer so they offered it to me for $1800.00 plus tax OTD. Salesman told me I could make a counter offer to the boss. I could even use a credit card with no additional fee. I did some quick math in my pea brained noggin. Let's see, rifle about $2800.00, plus mount $125.00, and around $1100.00 for the scope. That's $4025.00 on the low side retail price new. Hmmm...so what's the deal with the rifle?

Guy bought the rifle then got into financial trouble. Traded the rifle to a guy for some work performed. Guy that did the work traded it in on a bow and some arrows. Less than 100 rounds through the rifle. Looks good as new. More pondering and thinking. OK I know the manager...I can probably get the rifle for $1700.00 no problem. Heck of it is, I don't really want the damn thing and I am unsure how hard it would be to flip for profit. Did I screw up?

Movie Theater Sergio Leone: The Italian who Invented America

Came out a couple of years ago... but is available for streaming and on HBO...

This documentary is about legendary director Sergio Leone... the king of the Spaghetti Western... and the man who made Clint Eastwood "Clint."

Interviews a number of directors (Most of whom are Hollywood lefties) but is really fascinating how much Leone influenced some of the great movie directors of the '70's through today...

The clips, the interviews, the inter-relationships between films and myth and character, etc... if you are a film buff, you will really enjoy this!

One really funny moment is describing the bridge explosion in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. They spent weeks building the bridge and an Italian Army demo team rigged it. And everyone got into place and they blew the bridge... And "Tuco" said "Ha, I bet they didn't have film in the camera!"

A moment later, Leone came out of is trailer utterly screaming and going "Who blew the bridge!" Apparently, noone had called action and no cameras were rolling! The Italian Army felt so bad for screwing up the detonation, they rebuilt the bridge and then did the explosion again.

Anyway, a totally worthy watch!

Hog hunting rifle choice

I may have posted in the wrong forum the first time…

Looking to do some hog hunting in for a day May/June at the Clinton House Plantation in SC. I am trying to decide which rifle to take or should I take both. I am planning to take an AR (mk12 clone 1:8 twist) to hunt with. Property allows 223/556. I'm reading hit or miss on the 556. Should I leave the AR and take a 3006, take both ect? I am assuming shots would be within 300 yards but need to call the outfitters to confirm.

If I go 556:
65 grain Sierra Game Kings
or
70 grain Hornady CX
or
Barnes TSX triple Shock 70 grains

Take the 3006
150 grain Hornady SST
or
165 Grain SBT Game Kings
or
180 grain Sierra Game King Game Changers
