If this add triggers you, YOU'RE "psychotic"

JHFC.

The ad was a play on the popular hydraulic press videos that are popular across social media sites, but creatives found the concept to be in poor taste. Actor Hugh Grant referred to the ad as the "destruction of the human experience," director Reed Morano told Apple to "read the room" and called it "actually psychotic," and Basecamp CTO David Heinemeier Hansson said it"symbolizes everything everyone has ever hated about digitization."

The upset over the Crush ad led Apple to issue an apology. In a statement to Ad Age, Apple marketing vice president Tor Myhren said that the video ultimately "missed the mark."

Apples apology.
Creativity is in our DNA at Apple, and it's incredibly important to us to design products that empower creatives all over the world. Our goal is to always celebrate the myriad of ways users express themselves and bring their ideas to life through iPad. We missed the mark with this video, and we're sorry.

Apple left the Crush video on its YouTube channel, but the ad won't be running on television.

Bergara set up as a single shot…

Looking to get into a Bergara but have zero interest in a dbm set up. Just don’t have a use or desire. Plan on buying just the barreled action.

I have a McM A3 sitting here I’d like to use. I’ve seen the single shot mag replacement block and figured I could just adapt that to work with my non M5 stock.

Is there a better option or does anyone see where what I’ve described as a no go option?

Camera for Alaska trip

Question for all you photography buffs in the hide , I've got a fishing trip coming up in late July early August to the Keni River in Alaska, and need recommendations for a midrange under 300.00 camera , I haven't bought a new camera since the smart phones started including cameras, my last one was a Panasonic that is only 6 mega pixels, and although it takes perry good pictures, I know I can do better with a more modern higher resolution model , needs to be fairly compact for obvious reasons, what say the hide.

SOLD Timney "Remington 700" Trigger

Selling a used, single stage Timney Remington 700 trigger. Weight feels about 3.5-4#. I received this in a trade and unfortunately don't know much more about it. Comes as shown

*Full Disclosure: The nut on the back of the housing comes loose without a bonding agent. When I received the trigger it was loctited in place. I made an adjustment, tightened the nut without a bonding agent and expected it not to move. It eventually backed it's way out again and was causing a slam fire after 100 or so rounds.

Figured I'd list this if someone wants a trigger to mess with or would like to loctite/epoxy the nut in back place.

SOLD

No trades please.

SOLD FS- L3 Cratos damaged!

SOLD THANK YOU This is a touchy subject/ item that I am hesitantly posting because I can’t see any use for nor afford in its present condition..
I picked this awesome optic up 2 years ago for a great price ( now not so great) with big plans to integrate into our training curriculum. However I noticed some corrosion in the battery terminal and sent it in for warranty repair only to be told by L3 that the imager was dying. So, my great deal turned into not a great deal because we are in the middle of some substantial construction and I cannot afford to double my investment into it inorder to repair it. No matter how bad ass it is, and it is if you’re ever used one, almost overwhelming...

currently, everything still works, the battery corrosion issue was fixed, but a small spot appears on the image that I imagine is an indicator of impending failure. This unit has extremely low hours, in fact we used it less than 1 in total before sending it back.

L3 quoted roughly 6,000 to repair the units camera/ FPGA. If anyone here is interested in picking up a fixer upper or parts this is all you. Please message me for info. I’ll post pics if there is any interest, it’s in otherwise perfect condition. Comes with pelican, manual and all small parts. Acquired legally, etc… make me an offer otherwise asking 3,000 or open to trades for optics with a t3 reticle, etc.

Thanks fellas
