22 Creedmoor 77gr Sierra TMK aren't making it to the target

Shooting my 22 Creedmoor today in the hot NV desert. I was experiencing terrible, mysterious groups (Oblong holes) and missing shots at 100 yards, but only with Sierra 77gr TMK bullets. Hornady 62-grain ELD-VT bullets shot well. The 85.5gr Bergers did okay. I fireformed some 53gr V-max (22/250) they did fair, but made it to kick up dirt at 300yds.
I never had this problem in the wintertime with these bullets? 8"twist 3,425 FPS. I just bored-scoped the BBL; it needs cleaning, but the Carbon ring was minimal. I was worried that my BBL was shot.

PRS Rifle Build

Ok I am finally getting to the point I can finish my PRS bolt rifle build. I have an MDT ACC chassis. Using a Terminus Zeus QC action and will probably get a barrel from Josh at patriot Valley Arms. I intend to go to 6mm GT. What should I look for as optimal barrel length? Probably going to go with an M24 barrel profile. Or should I just go with a 24" 6.5 Creedmore barrel until I finish my reloading set up in a few months?

Carson city sheriff deputies take on Cartel member at farmers market

They went toe to toe with one of the most dangerous men alive . Brave selfless hero's all.
To female and two almost male deputies in the fight of their lives .

Well not cartel but an old handicapped man in a public park - about the same thing because the closest they’d come to a real fight is retaliation against an old man who’s already sued them and won for false arrest and 1st and 4th amendment violations.
I’ve had these guys all wrong it took real heart to confront an old man . Thank God he didn’t turn his camera off or they might have killed him .

Poll question- did this excite them so much that they went home and fucked their wives or beat them then fuck them?

FBI declares Sig 320/ ‘M17/ M18 unfit for duty

FBI and department of homeland security have declared Sig 320 family of pistols unfit and unsafe for duty . Failed several impact / drop tests, this time around, not the first time when all those bags of cash was floating around.

These tests focused on the striker safety mechanism and found it unserviceable.

Rifle Scopes $2500 MSRP Limit (PRS Production Class)

Who is king? I've shot a bunch of NRL22x/NRL Hunter but haven't gotten into PRS. I have an MPA BA PMR Pro II on order that I don't think I'd change much on anyway, and since it is eligible for Production class figure I might try to keep the optic there as well. Options seem to be slim; FFP/MIL/20x+ max are my criteria.

Most scopes have ridiculous MSRP's compared to street prices. I'd grab a Gen3 Razor and have fun but the MSRP is laughable.

Zeiss LRP S3 6-36 seems to be the best option I can find. Though they are one MSRP bump from being ineligible. XTR Pro is out; feel like the LRP S3 is well ahead of an XTR III? Looked at the Leica PRS 5-30 as well but those don't seem to have much of a following.

Yeah yeah I know, run what you want and shoot open. Still considering that, but setting up rifles for specific purposes is a fun game to play.

My 427 blower motor project.

A few moments where I depreciate the value of my neighborhood. Living amongst senior citizens has its advantages during times like this, as most are deaf as a post.

The data log reveals some interesting stuff. Idle lands around 1050rpm once it warms up. A 0-100% throttle whack sends the RPM to over 3,800 in 400ths of a second. The impressive (or scary) part is that during the blip, the atmosphere inside the engine changes from 14" of vacuum to +11psi worth of boost. This one has some big lungs, lol.

Still lots to do, but it at least starts and moves now.

The dry sump oil pump belt alignment has a small tracking error that I'm still working on. I have a .025" shim on the pump mount now that seems to help. I might have to add a little more.

The next big problem to solve is power management. This is a small tire car, and I estimate the engine to land somewhere around 2k for power output. Putting all of that to a 10" wide radial tire is asking a lot. I am not a fan of 2-step rev limiting strategies on blower motors as it's hell on parts. The mass of a pair of rotors whirling around as they are rapidly +/- in rpm as the computer pulls/adds cylinders (ignition) is not a good thing. A friend who's much smarter than I am has a pretty clever alternative solution using a stock GM throttle-by-wire throttle body. I ordered a pair and am dissecting them now for the upcoming experimental transplant surgery.
If it works, the engine will no longer crackle and pop. It'll just increase rpm, hold, and accelerate off the line with smooth/linear progression. Add some peripherals (traction control), and we might have a good solution for how to launch/control this dumb thing.

Rifle Case

I have a couple soft rifle cases that I have used in the past for a variety of firearms. I put together a rifle I plan to use for long range and dont want get it beat up during transit. I have a Daniel Defense Delta 5 and a Nightforce ACTAR 5-25 with a atlas bipod. Are people using pelicans or what do people use for hard rifle cases that they have a good experience with?

Thanks
