SOLD Stocky’s tikka stock with Spartan setup

Stockys vertical grip tikka stock, carbon fiber, weighs roughly 26 ounces. 2 Spartan gunsmith adapters are installed. The rear one is a bit off center, works fine for tripod use however.

Spartan mountain ascent with Gen 1 davros pro head. Great lightweight back country tripod, not quite enough for my heavy coyote rig however.

Spartan pro hunt tac bipod (long leg) with FHF gear bino harness holster.

I have a few regular mounts and an mlok mount I can throw in as well for the bipod.

Stock=$400 shipped
Bipod and holster=$SOLD
Tripod and head=$SOLD

Will trade for a hnt26 (tikka inlet), xlr mag 4.0 setup for tikka.

Partial trades for gunwerks bipod, gunwerks tripod with ball head, alterra tikka stock, manners tikka stock, other tikka lightweight CF stocks. Will also consider 18-20” 6.5 prc tikka Prefits (lightweight or CF only), 6.5 saum.

I will also consider selling the entire rifle setup if anyone is interested (minus the optic and suppressor). Details: started as a tikka t3 veil wideland. Barrel cut by class 3 machine to 18” (roughly 2700 fps with 140s). Barrel and bolt are fluted. Has OMR bolt shroud, Lumley CF carbon fiber knob, JA outdoors bottom metal color matched. Will come with both the factory tikka mag and an HCA mag that had a little dremel work done to it. UM 30mm rings. Stockys stock with the Spartan adapters. UM recoil lug. Not bedded. Very accurate and light rifle. As pictured it is 8 pounds 10 ounces on my scale (with the optic and suppressor mounted). 1750 for the rifle with stock.

Willing to trade the entire setup for other lightweight hunting rifles. Seekins ph3/2. 6mm creedmoor, 6.5 prc, 25 creedmoor, ext. 19-21” barrels depending on caliber.

Firearms Scar 16 Package - Extras Included

I’m going to regret selling this but here goes nothing. Scar 16 fully loaded and ready to roll. This had a custom copper/patina cerakote job done very recently by Titan here in Michigan. He replaced all the screws and hardware with brand new components so this rifle is CRISP. Everything about this gun is smooooooth.

ASR brake, suppressor, and AFG not included.

Comes with:
- 3 mags painted to match
- Eotech XPS3 (It's the CAG spec model so I think I have the right one listed)
- KDG rail
- Geissele trigger
- Ergo grip
- Optional addition of a Eotech 533 magnifier on a unity mount with the unity riser for the eotech - Add $500 to the price

$3,500 shipped or will take the following trades:
- nicely setup AR-15 in 5.56. Looking for something in the 16" flavor. Factory or built is fine.
- Mil/mil FFP optics (really could use a nice 1-10 or 7-35)
- 300NM factory ammo
- non-corrosive 7.62x54R ammo
- brass cased 9mm target ammo
- 30 cal 250gr atip projectiles
- Sig Tango 6T 1-6 (with NSN or commercial equivalent). Needs to be their FDE color.

Of course none of the other stuff on the wall not mentioned above is not included.

SOLD Full blown Dillon XL750 press setup for 5.56 - SPF

I prefer to sell this locally so I don’t have to bother figuring out how the heck to ship this beast. If no one local to Michigan or northern IN wants it then I’ll look into shipping arrangements and cost.

This is turn key and ready to go. Fully setup with the Mr Bullet Feeder and extra trays and stuff not listed, this setup would run you north of $2500 to piece together. Looking for $2000 locally and I’ll throw in some 5.56 components like powder and boolits.

I’m open to trades on it for mil/mil FFP glass or a big boomer in 300 NM, 28 Nosler, or 7 PRC

I’ve probably loaded 2000-3000 on it. I bought it brand new.

Ignore the junk and the 9mm ammo. Things got a little chaotic redoing this room.

China embargo?

just saw elsewhere that Trump just embargoed China 100%-meds,car parts, everything. true from other sources? if so-
1) need to get US citizens out. they will be in danger. be like China in 30s.
2) a lot of corrupt rinos and dims will scream bloody murder
3) will affect very many firms here, some smallish, some enormous
4) Xi likely to try Taiwan to start some distraction to stay in power?
5) some judge will make some "injunction" BS
6) affect on Russia/Ukraine?
7) some secret thing with Modi to distract china from India?/Pakistan?
8) will drastically curtail the income of most congressional scum
expelling ALL Chinese nationals would be a terrific add on. not likely possible but siccing the FBI on them would be interesting. universities would cry about losing faculty, students and closing departments-fuck them.
if we expelled all illegals, all Chinese nationals,90% of Muslims might get our pop down from 350 mil to 250-good thing. reduce crime 20% at least. of course the in country Chinese army would have to be dealt with.

Can we talk shooting technique?

My ARs are set up to be more precision oriented (mid range scopes opposed to LPVO/Red dot) and I'd say that I am an avg (maybe a lil better than avg) bench shooter and just an average shooter off a tripod and bag (which I find much more enjoyable) so I'd really like to improve

Whether you shoot off a tripod/bag, front bag, bipod, whatever. I am curious what your technique is like....in terms of a few things.

What is your non trigger hand focused on?
I've seen people.....grip the handguard and pinch the bag, hold the top of the scope, put it on top of the stock in front of their face, just hold the handguard, hold the tripod/bipod leg, etc.

And with that hand....what is your focus?
Balance the rifle? Pull the rifle into you? Push the rifle downward?

Your shooting hand....do you
Use a normal pistol grip? Precision-style grip (thumb on same side)? Put any pressure on the grip at all? Inward/downward?

Some of these things seem silly, but I have seen them all done....and even taught.

Just curious what you fine shooters do.

Woox customer service sucks

I received my order yesterday. I have been waiting for this chassis for a build. I was missing a Hawkins M5 DBM. I went to call and no number to call only email or chat. Is this how they treat everyone. If an issue is found problems should warrant a call and be taken care of without the customers jumping through hoops. My issue is Woox didn’t send all of my order. Woox should now jump through hoops to fix my issue. Not the other way around.

I will keep everyone posted on how they fix this issue.

Accuracy testing methods… Paper Don’t Lie

One of my buddy’s oft repeated statements when I mention testing new stuff at distance.
However, what IS best? I’m not aware of any 500 yd testing tunnels, and don’t have an “in” to test at a blimp hanger or empty warehouse. Even if I did, what method gives the most reliable results?
Must the barreled action be locked down in a vise? Must it be allowed to free recoil with some form of return to battery arrangement?
And what of the bore itself? How many rounds must it have seen since cleaning or new before the results are noteworthy?
Oooh, even more controversial, how many rounds must be fired to establish a “good” data? Careful… That question is sticky…
What about the atmospherics and chosen lubes and their quantities/viscosity in the action? Will a given barreled action perform equally well in the frozen tundra as in the Sahara?

All the above bla bla goes to asking for quantifiable proof for certain combinations of barrel parameters to perform the best at long range precision.

Does bore volume have any impact in how a barrel performs?
Don’t bypass that question, really think about it for a second. Yes pistols can be quite accurate, but I’ve never seen one hang with a rifle length barrel at distance.
So ok, you have several barrels of identical length and wall thickness to the top of the lands, the only variable being the number of lands… Any documented proof that one is better?
So many different lands and grooves to choose from, both in dimensions (or none at all in the case of polygonal styles)…
I’d think some types would “hold” a certain consistency after being “seasoned” versus others fouling quite fast? Or no?
Are those rifling styles and dimensions going to be compatible with ANY chamber reamer, or will some be a disaster or “meh”, while others provide long term accuracy?
At this point we haven’t even cracked into the Pandora’s Box of twist rates…..
Time for another mug of coffee😉

SOLD Turnkey Tikka - NF ATACR/Manners/LRI

Turnkey Tikka Setup

Tikka.jpeg

Tikka T3x Barreled Action (Tac A1)
2 stage factory trigger and Yodave spring
Factory 6.5cm barrel cut to 16" by LRI
Rearden muzzle brake, cerakoted black by LRI
Factory bolt fluted and cerakoted by LRI
Sterk titanium bolt shroud
Titanium swept ball bolt knob
Two factory CTR mags cerakoted black by LRI
Manners MCS-LRH-TK in black carbon
Murphy Precision titanium scope base in black cerakote
ARC M10 34mm rings
NightForce ATACR 4-16x42mm Mil-C reticle

Barreled action had a few hundred rounds down the tube when it was in its Tac-A1 configuration after barrel cut. Shot 1/2" MOA or better and was never fired in high volume. Has been fired zero times since cerakote, manners stock installation, and NF mounted. Optic is brand new direct from NightForce, zero rounds fired on it. Has been mounted and sat in the safe since, aside from taking picture in back yard. The only original packaging I have is for the ATACR.

Suppressor and Tripod not included

Would like to keep together as a turnkey package. Well over $6000 into this build. Asking $5200 OBO.
Will consider trades for high end thermal units
