I usually have 50-75 rifles, shotguns and handguns that I want to hang on the wall.
Would like to go old school with wood.
Also want to display horizontal instead of vertical.

I have two sets of 34mm rings for these. The first is a Spuhr hunting series SCP-4006. I think that is 1.36" tall or there about. I also have a set of Nightforce Ultralights in 34mm, 1.5" height. First buyer gets their choice, second buyer gets the "other" set. In either case your saving somewhere in the $200 neighborhood.

Have a few questions for current DD5 owners.

What's the Firing Pin diameter on the DD5 V3/V4/V5???

Also any slop between the Upper and Lower?

Could you post a pick of the Feed Ramps/Chamber area?

Also if you've removed your barrel how did it fit?

I called DD today and the tech guy was basically useless, and the last DD5 I worked on I honestly didn't think to take any notes.

I have a 1:9 twist 3B bart that will be put on a hunting rifle. I am flipping back and forth between 300PRC and 300WM for this build. It’ll be a light ish (10lbs scoped) hunting rifle that will also get a bit of range time.

This will be on an ARC Nucleus action and chambered by LRI.

I am leaning towards 300WM for versatility but am curious if the 1:9 will have a hard time stabilizing 175-200 IF I decided to buy some factory ammo. I am a reloader and plan to reload 205-215 bergers but do not want to totally restrict myself…. Or should I stop being stupid and chamber in 300PRC..

Combat Troodon was carried daily and used for some stuff, nothing real crazy other than tape or rope on serrations barely. As you can see from pics it does have some marks around it. It will also definitely need a good cleaning. I don't have the tool to disassemble it, so I never tried to really deep clean other than air. I haven't paid attention to optics much in the past 3-4 years, and am out of touch with what's good and available right now, so hoping for some recommendations. My requirements (ok really a wish list):

- $500-ish range. could maybe go a couple hundred higher.
- mil/mil, absolute requirement.
- about 4-16x-ish power is what I'm looking for.
- decent glass is a priority. Not expecting world class stuff, but something at least in the range of Leupold VX2/3 etc.
- consistent dialing is important, but my expectations are reasonable here, just don't want crap
- reasonably light weight. 20-25 oz is fine, ~30 is my max
- zero stop, locking turrets, throw levers, etc are all nice to haves, but won't make or break the deal

An example of one that I think would work well is the Sig Tango4 4-16x, which I've seen a few recommendations here in threads from ~2 years ago, and there are a couple on ebay in my price range but they seem to be discontinued? What's out there now that I should be considering?

I'm OK with Phillipine made optics, like some of the SWFA SS scopes I have now, but would rather avoid China if possible.
I do know the XTR II scopes are out there right now for about $1K, and I'm real tempted but trying to keep my budget more responsible on this one. Use case is mostly 600-1200 yard steel, but possibly hunting at closer ranges too.

I have a Cronus w/APRS Mil reticle & cant find any reason not to like it. Have had it since late summer 2018. Its been on 2 rifles and seen 3 chamberings and 5 barrels. It does everything I ask of it. I will say the first one I got had issues but Athlon replaced it immediately and the replacement has been spot on , day in , day out without fail!!
I am thinking bout a new rig and thinking bout a Burris XTR Pro to go on it. I like the USA made thing & the scopes specifics seem to meet or exceed my needs.
I have questions of anyone who has spent time with both:

Reticle line thickness at medium to high powder .. I tend to run around 15 to 22 power and really stay about 17-18 most of the time. I like the reticle thickness of the APRS! How does the XTRPro compare?

Hoping folks on here can help. I recently purchased a pair of Costa Del Mar Jose frames with blue mirror 580 polycarbonate lenses. When they arrived I was surprised that the blue mirror finish on the lenses was not as bright as I thought it was going to be, more of a matte. I compared them to a bunch of images and videos online of the same Jose frames and all the ones I saw online sure seem to be much more "mirrored" and bright blue than the ones I was sent. Can anybody tell me if these appear to be “normal” or if I should be worried about being sent a non-authentic pair of frames? Or maybe do the real glass lenses have a more "mirrored" and bright blue finish on the lenses than the polycarbonate? Everything else with them appears authentic but I'm no expert. Thanks for any help!

I won an auction lot that contain a number of barrels, including these two. They look like Parker Hale 1200 or M82 target barrels to me, but I just guessing. Anyone able to help me out?
