Ammo Inc. sells manufacturing assets to Olin Winchester

Interesting find this morning. What are anyone’s thoughts? I know the sheer amount of consolidation across the industry into a handful of companies and/or conglomerates has strong opinions associated with it. I’ve never bought Ammo Inc’s ammo but I will say that I never buy any of Winchester’s ammo that’s for sure….

That’s a .pdf below too so you’re aware.

R700 triggertech slamfire issue.

So to preface. I have a total of 5 TTs. Two Diamonds on my two custom actions, 2 specials on bighorns, and this special on the R700 on my XM3. Have never really experienced this, and unbeknownst to me until I sat down to practice dry firing last night and ran the bolt rather aggressively, was getting slamfires. Trigger is at 1ish lbs. Obviously the sear engagement can't be adjusted. I could get it safely at 2lbs, just much heavier than I'm used to. Though I could work with it, but I am curious if this has happened to anyone else with TT and an R700?

If this has happened to you what was the solution? I haven't really strayed from TT in years, part of me has half a mind to throw a diamond on it and set it o 1.5lbs.

Ammo Lots of Creedmoor Sports 6.5 Creed Ammo

I got this from a local friend but it's way more ammo than I will ever shoot out of this gun so it's up for grabs. It is their own factory ammo loaded with 140gr HPBT projectiles (Hornady).

Total amount is 1,615 rounds, so I will break it down into 3 lots (500, 500, and 615).

$650 shipped per 500 rounds
$800 shipped for the 615 rounds

Pretty much set on trades right now.

SOLD Schmidt PM-II 6-36, new TR2ID tree reticle

Part number: 163-911-43F-M2-15
Schmidt Bender 6-36x56mm PM II US LPI TR2ID 1cm), cow DT II+ MTC LT / ST I| ZC LT Riflescope

Google that part number for details or ping me with questions.

This is the latest release of the 6-36x with the new tree reticle (which is a great reticle frankly). These as the ideal turrets for competition, with the option for the slightly heavier click on each mil, which can also be disabled via the turret locking mechanism. Pretty slick really.

Selling with the sunshade, which is a $75 part on its own.

Scope is in fantastic condition. Only saw the range 5-6 times and never a competition.

$2900 to your door in the lower 48. I’m taking a beating on this (paid 4300 as this was the first shipment that arrived to the US) so BS low ball offers will be ignored. Please don’t waste either of our time.

New shorty 308

18 inch 308. Barrel work done by LRI. X pattern fluting. MCbros action with DLC coated bolt. AG composite Adjustable Chalk Branch. Stock bedded and painted here. Minox 3-15. APA rings.
SAS 7 inch titanium. My new favorite. It doesn't heat walk either. LRI did a fantastic job on barrel fluting and installation.

SOLD 18” 6creed in Q chassis. 🔥

Thinning the herd and getting rid of a couple of redundant rifles in my arsenal.

-Bergara Premier action (the Q needs top r700 profile for it to work, which Bergara has) with upgraded AI style boltknob.
-Proof Stainless Steel Barrel .243 1:7.5 Med Palma barrel chambered by Southwest action works, finished at 18”, threaded 5/8x24.
-Q Sidechick chassis (with original box), blue accents were spray painted black with Krylon
-Trigger Tech Diamond flat shoe single stage
-Leupold MK5 3.6-18 H59 (original box) GONE
-option 1: Tier One 1.30” long saddle mount 0 moa (with original box) GONE
-option 2: Leupold IMS 1.5” bolt mount 20 moa with Koeng adapter and riser for an Aimpoint T1/T2 (or same footprint)

2000$ shipped to your FFL in lower 48, price is firm so don’t even ask, if it doesn’t sell I’ll keep it, don’t need the money. If you want a TT curved field trigger for some reason, I have one I can swap in.
The only thing you’re not getting is the TBAC brake, keeping that for my can.

If you haven’t had a vasectomy, be extremely careful, your old lady might get pregnant when she sees the groups this thing prints.
400 rounds on barrel, 108eldms at 2915fps.
You get the load data with h4350 and 200 pieces of 2x fired (out of this rifle obviously) lapua brass for free.
Rifle weighs 8.2# on my scale, obviously add 35oz for the optic with tier one mount. Lockup on the folding hinge is amazing.

Trades: NV/Thermal related items +- cash, or high end scopes with T3, specifically looking for S&B 5-20 T3/T5 Ultra Short, I’d trade straight across for that. Would consider another mk5 3-18 with T3 or NF atacr 4-20 w/T3 as well.

SOLD 223 Remington 700 LRT XCR Barreled Action

300 rounds, was going to use for a build but changed my mind. Shot well before I disassembled it. Complete with Bolt and Trigger, if just buying for the action, I can pull the barrel and send minus the barrel if preferred. Great condition, jeweling on the bolt (has a tactical jeweling) is still nice, timed pretty well. S prefix. 450+shipping to FFL. 26 inch barrel, 1:9 twist, not threaded. Taking money order for it.

Night Vision URGENT $7500 Safran Moskito

I need to sell this fast to fund a machine, so priced it at $7500+shipping.

The unit is in great condition. Was never used, just tested.
The only possible trade I’d entertain is for a Leupold 2-10 + $6000 + shipping.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.

What The Pros Use -Best Rifle Scope For Long Range Precision Shooting 01/20/25

Screenshot_20-1-2025_162533_precisionrifleblog.com.jpeg

Congratulations to ZCO!

"ZCO scopes picked up 6% more shooters among this group to land at 20% overall. That was enough to edge out Leupold from the top spot that it held last year. Leupold represented 19% of the pros this year, compared to 22% last year.

Tangent Theta scopes went from 2nd to 3rd most popular but were once again just 2% behind Leupold. Nightforce had a similar showing year-over-year with a respectable 13%. Kahales picked up a few percentage points to land at 11% today, and Vortex dropped from 14% to 10% among this group of pros."

Zero Compromise Optic (ZCO) Scopes: 20% of Pros

20% of the top 200 ranked shooters in the PRS said they were running a Zero Compromise scope when I surveyed them at the end of the 2024 PRS Season. That included 3 of the shooters who finished the 2024 PRS Season in the top 10 in the Open Division, which was as many as any other brand among the top 10. They also had a total of 12 among the top 50 competitors, which means they were well-represented at every level.

The moment they realize the numbers don’t match

It only took 12 of them to figure out that it was the wrong guy .

But Because they are retarded they did threaten to shoot him in the face .
And want qualified immunity to be invoked so they don’t get sued .
Fucking retards

For those of you following the threads I said I’d post a wrong house wrong cat wrong person thread every week this year . So far it hasn’t been hard to find a good example.

Firearms You ready to be a man? PRICE DROP!!!

So you want to get your feet wet in the prs but don't know where to start. Well start here and pull out that checkbook. Everything you need to start well minus a kestrel but I hear only pussies use those. ( there's a cheap Caldwell if you really can't tell the wind). Now the details of this magnificent piece.

Mpa competition chassis
Kahles 525i rsw in spuhr rings
Bighorn tl3 action
Criterion 6.5 creedmoor 20in 5/8x24
Harris bipod 6x9 with arca adapter
Self time muzzle brake can't remember brand
Timney triggertech diamond pro
X ring e dope holder
Armageddon gear game changer
Tab gear bag
Wiebad bag
Tab gear sling
Aadmount scope caps
Kahles throw lever for parallax and magnification
10 round Aic magizine and a 5 round
And lastly a pelican case to keep it safe.

Now how much you think this will all run you? I'm asking the low price of 6500 price drop 6000 obo hell the scope alone new is 3600 and this scope and barrel only has 1500 rounds on it. So what are you waiting on and don't you dare say let me ask the ol lady she don't need to know be a man spend your money on something you want. Shipping will be on the buyer. If your in Oklahoma or the dfw amarillo area I'll gladly drive this beautiful rifle to your ffl and we will cut out the shipping completely

Biden pardons Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, J6 committee members

Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley (Ret.), and others who some speculated may have faced investigations under the incoming Trump administration on Monday.

Biden's pardons come just hours before he is set to depart the White House and President-elect Trump takes the oath of office once again. The pardon also applies to a litany of people involved in the January 6 select committee investigation.

In addition to the named individuals, the pardon applies to, "Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee."

Notably, Special Counsel Jack Smith, former FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland are not included in the pardon, despite speculation that they may face backlash from the incoming administration.
