JD Vance Mirrors Obama

An interesting read and reason to be skeptical of Vance at the very least. Just a portion below, but food for thought.

Abandoned by his father to a troubled single mother; eventually raised by grandparents. He is then recruited from an Ivy league law school by shadow figures, a specific billionaire and a network of interests. He changes his name, writes a book about his life story, and with the support of the aforementioned – who eventually pays for the assembly of a strategic campaign influence network, becomes a Senator for 2 years before being quickly elevated into position in the White House.
Many people reading that paragraph would be familiar with the life story of Barack Hussien Obama. However, that paragraph also explains the right-side version of the exact same storyline, James David Vance. It’s a mirror.
How does a person without any baseline in politics, not a council member, not a mayor, not a state rep – or state senate, governor etc., become a U.S. Senator and then quickly get into the White House?
JD Vance was born James Donald Bowman in Middletown, Ohio (August 2, 1984). He then changed his name to James David Bowman. He then changed his name to James David Hamel. Eventually, in 2014, notably after Yale Law School (class of 2013) and after marrying his wife Usha, now age 30, he changed his name to write a book.
It was 2014, that’s when JD Vance was born.
Thiel first recruited Vance into his circle while Vance was still a student at Yale Law School. Shortly thereafter, Vance joined Thiel’s investment firm Mithril Capital, where he worked for two years before joining Revolution Ventures. Vance played a major role in Revolution’s “Rise of the Rest” seed fund whose major investors included Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. {Citation}
From this timeline we can see how JD Vance went from no money (student loans) in 2013, to big money in 2020. Everything came via Peter Thiel and Eric Schmidt, but mostly Thiel.
Billionaires Eric Schmidt and Peter Thiel are key members of the steering committee of the controversial, closed-door and overtly globalist Bilderberg conference. Newsweek once called Schmidt and Thiel the two most influential figures at Bilderberg.
According to the popular narrative, JD Vance opposes the Intelligence Community deep surveillance state, while simultaneously being the political front for the interests of Peter Thiel and Palantir Technology? This doesn’t reconcile.
It is also important to remember that prior to 2018; prior to Peter Thiel becoming aligned with the FBI as a confidential human source, and prior to Vance needing the Trump endorsement; JD Vance was a staunch never-Trumper.
Within the Thiel network you will note the aligned interests of another key financial friend and big federal contractor, Elon Musk. Together, Musk and Thiel form the core of a very wealthy group of modern tech political influence agents, including another Yale Law School graduate and JD Vance supporter, Vivek Ramaswamy.

Crowdstrike of Russiagate fame caused "Largest IT Outage In History" Sparks Disruptions Worldwide

Crowdstrike company that claimed Russians hacked DNC just crashed computers world wide, you know the crew that looked at the DNC servers instead of the federales and then recanted their findings in testimony before Congress,
As a reward for propaganda services to DNC , Crowdstrike got showered in money and contracts and Pelosi and co-invested in their stock prior to their meteoric rise. Well it seems crash might be just as meteoric.

''Early Friday, a global IT outage caused by an issue with cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike disrupted flights, banks, retailers, stock exchanges, 911 call centers, and media outlets. Experts say this could be one of the largest IT outages in modern history.

Bloomberg reported that CrowdStrike warned customers that its Falcon Sensor threat-monitoring product was the source of the chaos, causing Microsoft's Windows operating system to crash. There was no mention of what triggered the issue, and there were reports of disruptions in Microsoft's Azure cloud and 365 Office software.

"We're aware of an issue affecting Windows devices due to an update from a third-party software platform," Microsoft said in a statement, adding, "We anticipate a resolution is forthcoming." ''

Alan Woodward, professor of cybersecurity at Surrey University, told Bloomberg this global outage is "unprecedented" and warned "the economic impact will be huge."

Australian web security consultant Troy Hunt wrote on X, "I don’t think it’s too early to call it: this will be the largest IT outage in history."

Why don't you see more .300 WSM?

Being a short cartridge I would imagine you could safely load it down quite a bit safely over say 300 Win Mag

It's a 30 cal

It's magnum power in a short action

So what am I missing here? I've hardly ever heard of this cartridge but I absolutely love 30 cal rifles! Seems like this would be the end all be all cartridge within 600 yards.

Firearms Accuracy International AT LE

For sale is my AI AT LE. It started life as a regular AT but was fitted with an AX stock by the previous owner (I’m the second), that in combination with the 16.5” 308 barrel are why I refer to it as an AT “LE”. Final note, rifle was painted by the previous owner, however I spent hours paint stripping it tediously by hand, it’s difficult to discern it ever was rattle canned. Skins are brand new as well (pale brown, like the stock). •Receiver/bolt round count is roughly 4k •Proof 16.5” 308 SS barrel with a round count around 1,200. Grouping sub MOA with IMI 175gr OTM. •Included is the rifle, one AW magazine, and an AI spigot adapter (installed).

Asking $4400 shipped to your FFL. *Also available* is a Zeiss LRP S3 6-36 (MIL), like new with Tenebraex scope covers. Asking $2400, less if you buy it with the rifle.

I’m aware of my lack of feedback on here, I have over 170+ transactions on Tacswap and I’m available via instagram with many great folks who can vouch for me. Feel free to DM me or leave any questions in the comments. No trades please & thank you.

SOLD AI AX SBR 6.5 Creedmoor

This rifle was primarily used for photo ops,

Purchased the rifle in Like New condition, second owner. Originally came as a 260 Remington, sold off the barrel, and sent Fritz a Proof Carbon 14" blank to be machined in 6.5 Creedmoor. Fritz also shortened the forend rail to clear the 14" barrel, and refinished it to color match. Bolt nob has been replaced with the illustrious giant brass ball that makes the bolt throw laughably easy. Factory bolt nob included for the purest.

There are under 100rds on this rifle. Shoots great with 130gr class projectiles, what I mostly shoot in the short barrel rigs. I did not try 120s or 140s, or any other flavor.

This is a Form 3 SBR NFA item that will transfer on a Form 3 unless the buyer doesn't want the Proof barrel. At which point I will de-reg.

Complete rifle ONLY, no scope, bipod, suppressor - $4,000 shipped
Rifle without barrel, scope, bipod, suppressor - $3,300 shipped

Accessories can be had by buyer.

Check, ACH, Wire, Zelle or CC + %.

Gunbroker scam

So I won an auction from a seller with no feedback. Sent him an email requesting shipping prices for overnight and priority. Here are the email responses I received and they got my scam meter redlined. I sent them to GB customer support and they responded with nothing suspicious. What’s the consensus?

Suppressors Tbac Ultra 338 Gen 2 strike

So this happened today.
I have shot my Gen 2 338 SR suppresor a lot, shot a few matches with it a few thousand round through it.
I’ve always mounted the Suppresor correctly, keeping the brake and Suppresor maintained. Read everything there is on people’s mistakes shooting their cans off, or even suppressor cover material causing it to mount off center (I don’t use a cover). It’s mounted on a .308 ATX and the mount is correctly installed. Half way through my training day I got a weird sound and checked the suppressor, sure enough, end cap strike. The gun was shooting .4 moa when I started today and the same size group after the strike. Was shooting out to 1000m no problem so that leads me to believe it was mounted correctly and did not continue rubbing. Not really sure how this could have happened using factory ammo (175gr smk). I’m religious in checking suppressor alignment and even checked after the shot, it just sucks this happened to such an expensive suppressor.
Could I have done something wrong, possibly but I’ve taken every precaution and am at a loss.

The last baffle has a nick in it and the end cap was struck.
By the photo does this need to be repaired or can it just keep trucking along?

SOLD WTS Garmin Tactix 7 Amoled Watch w/Applied Ballistics

I thought I’d wear this but I had it on for a bit around the house and I’m not a watch guy and afraid of it getting messed up. So it’s been sitting on my island for a couple weeks. Watch is brand new out of the box. Has AB already installed and working. Syncs with your phone. Touchscreen. ALL the bells and whistles. Retails for over $1200 plus more with AB. Comes with charging cord, all factory info packets, and secondary strap. Only trade I’d be interested in is a Garmin Xero plus some cash.

Extremely light but hyper accurate 22lr rifle

I have moved away from most all precision centerfire and rimfire rifle stuff lately. I sold everything but my last V-22 to fund a house build and completely get out of debt. My goal in my new life is going to be more hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. I will be building an accurate but light centerfire to bang steel and hunt with once the funds are available, I already know what I want there (well it’s down to 2-3 options). However I am struggling to come up with a rimfire to match it.

So I thought it may be an interesting conversation with the rimfire crowd here on the Hide. As of right now the slate is completely clean and I am open to anything. Some criteria I would like are:
-magazine fed
-scoped
-accurate (something capable of 1/2 MOA @ 50 yards / 1-1.25 MOA @ 100 yards is ideal, but it must me sub MOA at 50 which should not be a problem)
-prefer a 2 stage trigger but that isn’t a deal breaker, it just has to be very clean and crisp
-threaded for a suppressor
-not crazy expensive

I am open to both bolt action which I prefer or semi auto. I have been leaning to building a 10/22. I have built a few that were surprisingly accurate. Anyway, let’s hear it guys…

Leather Suppresor Mirage Shield

I just got my first suppressor a week ago. As I was sighting in my new scope I discovered the heat mirage you get after even a few shots. I experimented with just laying a piece of leather across the top and it worked good for me. So this evening I made something a little bit nicer. It has the two thick strips of leather that are the only pieces touching the suppressor and it also holds the shield up off the suppressor 3/16” or so. I’m hoping that will help with cooling. I’m happy with it so far for what I’m doing.
