Does bullet seating effect std dev?
The issue I’m getting, with my dasher and 308, I get a std dev in the single digits, my 223 bolt gun is getting around 25 to 30 std Div. My process is the same on all, but the difference is I use LW Wilson seating die for the dasher and the 308 and a standard rcbs for the 223. It’s the only difference I can find. Thoughts?

I don't shoot this enough to keep it. Need to fund or trade for a NF Mil 5-25 ATACR. Had TS Customs put this together for hunting, but I don't get out much these days. Only 300 rounds on it. Had OD Green Rustoleum on it at one point, but it is 100% wiped clean and removed. Action is slick as butter.

I posted a request for advice on scope in a previous thread for SR 25 6.5 14.5"-16" - Based on that input---I narrowed it down to either a Tangent Theta T315P (3-15) with Tremor 3 or SB 5-20 Ultra Short with Tremor. I know the SB has higher magnification and is smaller. I have had SB PSRs but never a Tangent Theta. Another possible concern is warranty issues on SB now perhaps having to go to Germany? I read some who have had both said TT has slightly better glass - better turrets - but not sure of durability? of either though the SB PSRs I had were trouble free. I will be shooting 300-800 yards. Any compromise going with the TT 15x vs SB 20x? Thanks much for the input.
