SOLD Ghillie construction kits

I have two army issued Ghillie suit construction kits. These are loaded with every thing you’ll need to build your ghillie. You can build multiple with each kit. Minus pants and top. Similar commercial kits go for $800+. Would sell for $450 or trade one of the kits for a Kestrel

Help Me Improve. How to Get More Precise?

I want to add some precision to my reloading, and I read the sticky, watched a lot of YouTube videos, etc, but I wanted to get some opinions on equipment and techniques here. I’m not brand new to reloading, but there’s a lot I don’t know and I’m trying to improve.

A good load for me right now is around 0.6 MOA shot at 100 yds (5 round group). I don’t compete, I just hunt and shoot for fun, but I think I have a couple of rifles that could shoot under that, and I’d like to see if my groups are being limited by my reloads or by the rifle. Plus, I do want to eventually build out a precision rifle, and it’d be good to have a solid foundation in the reloading department already.

Current equipment is very basic stuff. A Rock Chucker IV, standard die sets from RCBS and Hornady, Lyman hand-crank trimmer, RCBS hand priming tool, RCBS Chargemaster Lite. I’m using a Hornady bullet comparator to get CBTO lengths.

I’ve been using segregated brass of various common makes, and I think probably buying some Lapua or other high quality brass would be step 1.

What I don’t know about is what is the best equipment and technique to resize consistently, with a high degree of fidelity to the chamber dimensions, while having consistent neck tension and concentricity. Bushing dies? Standard dies with the expander ball removed, followed up with a mandrel die? Do micrometer sizing dies make consistent shoulder bump easier? Obviously I’d say sizing is the area where I have the most questions.

Also, is all of that a waste of time if I don’t already own an annealer? Should that be my 1st purchase? I don’t mind throwing something like Remington brass away once it’s toast, so I’ve never bothered annealing. Obviously Lapua/Alpha/Petersen would be brass I’d like to get more loadings out of.

For seating, I think I’d like to go to a micrometer die and stay on the single stage press.

Any suggestions on equipment, brands, techniques, books, videos, etc? Trying to learn but there’s a lot of noise mixed in with the good info.

TIA.

Firearms HK and B&T for cheap

Note: I will only sell to established members with 100% positive feedback for multiple previous transactions.

All of these are new unfired, unmodified, factory built firearms. They all include everything that they shipped with when new. They have all been stored in a climate controlled safe. You would be buying directly from my FFL. So you would actually pay my FFL and they will ship to your FFL (I have done this with all of the firearms sales I do on this site. It works well to protect myself and the buyer). Payment would be via credit card directly to the shop. I’ve worked closely with this FFL for almost 8 years, they are an actual brick and mortar shop. I can usually only make it to the shop Fri, Sat, and Sun. So please keep that in mind while waiting for the shop to have received the firearm. Again, payment would not be made to me. Payment will be made directly to my FFL after they have the firearm in their possession and you have connected with them on the phone. They can accept credit card over the phone. Not interested in any trades. Any questions, just ask. I have sold many high end rifles and scopes on this sight, see my feedback. Each firearm will be shipped with full insurance. Thanks for looking.

Photos to come. Prices are shipped to your FFL. There are no additional credit card fees or taxes. The price listed is the price you would pay my FFL for it to be shipped to your FFL.

Used vehicle prices

What are used vehicle prices doing in your area?

I have needed a new work truck for a while but refused to pay the crazy inflated prices. I have been watching a few truck rot away on the dealer lot at a crazy high price. I am just starting to notice a few trucks show up here and there for reasonable cost.

My theory is dealers are not giving crazy trade values anymore so there is a few trucks on the market that they haven't overpaid for. The old stock don't seem to move but new stock seems more reasonable. Anyone seeing the same or different?

Poverty pony bolt actions

Not going to lie, this looks interesting depending on the price. Comes with TT triggers, rem 700 foot print and savage style barrel fluted bolt. I mean...what more can you really ask for from one of the premiere, top shelf AR makers in the game?

Night Vision Loaner and scanner thermal need

I have an older (no internal recording, memory, saving zero, etc) IR Defense 35mm and NV but since my wife freaks if I go by myself and on occasion a property owner will want to go with me, I need a loaner for a guest. I would also use it as a scanner when no guest is present. I hunt pigs and coyotes in mostly wooded areas. (MS and LA).
I have done a bunch of research, and I am thinking a 384 with 35mm will do for my application. I have read that a scanner is used more and a 640 will help Id animals at a distance but I’m thinking scan to find it and bring the IR Defense up to identify and shoot.
Is 384 ok for guest to shoot about 100 yards?
I would love a N vision or Trijicon, but I would like to stay under 5k - even lower if a 384 will be sufficient.
I can afford another 640 if it is needed so please give thoughts.
Should I get one in case my current unit goes out?
Thoughts and recommendations on 384 vs 640 and specific models?
Thanks!

Opinions on a 223 boltgun build for my two boys

I would like to locate a Remington 5r or Police with a 20 inch barrel in .223 for my two young boys to shoot along with their .22s.

I say either the 5r or Police, because I feel like when they built these / or you could find them years back, they had decent barrels and you didn't have to immediately throw on an aftermarket barrel and blueprint the action to have a decent rifle. Is my theory correct? Any other ideas that could get my purchase/build/project off the ground?

I do want to stick with a 700 platform but cant find any with 20 inches.

Any leads on where I could locate at least a base rifle or ideas on a accurate .223?

Thank you...
