Like @Dogtown said. I shoot a few charge weights so I can true QL. I can trust a trued profile. Then we shoot across the barrel time somewhere around 1 to 2 grains off max. I have had very good success finding the load the gun likes doing that. If I have to do this in a single range trip, then I pack the portable load equipment and do it all at the range.

Also you probably already know this, but I see a lot of people drop pistol slides with a round in the chamber, especially when they are having issues getting a gun to run. Avoid it, it's extremely hard on extractors, you can easily chip the claw hook, and/or bend the hook causing issues.

Cleaned the channel out and it’s still doing it. Wasn’t near as bad as my staccato P was when it started doing the same thing, the amount of crap in there was amazing. New extractor is on the way. Aside from the safety, this will be the last factory mim part left.

As far as the second part, I’m aware of it, but thought it was more of dropping the slide on and empty chamber being the issue. We try to be nice with these guns, understanding they’re not glocks and need more care. Regardless, during the heat of the moment, mid-stage, things happen.

They have a fairly regular cleaning schedule if I remember what I read about them a while back.

Yeah, I had read that every 500-1000 rounds you can put them in an ultrasonic cleaner and be gtg so that doesn’t seem bad.

I'll get more pics momentarily. If the black stick is in fact a first gen, it would be a long action. I believe all first gen SPRs were built on LAs.

The green stock is a mcmillan or manners (I can't recall) and it's some type of hunter stock. That's what the previous seller told me. He tried doing some inletting work himself and kinda fucked it up a bit buts it not too bad.

Yeah those mags are nice. I now have like 4 or 5 of those bottom metals and plenty of mags lol.

I’ve honestly held off for so long because I felt like the suppression level just isn’t worth it on cans I’ve been around but from what I saw, these seem to be outperforming other cans in that arena so it’s peaked my interest.

I run my matches to max 310y for two reasons. Maybe three.

One - our range prefers that we use berms whenever possible.

Two - the switchy winds and three wind zones at the range make hits on even a 12” square plate at 307 yards tricky sometimes. I’m not putting out targets for the 1% that might get lucky at 400y.

Three - I want my matches to ensure that beginners and lower budget shooters make at least 30% hits. A 310-400y shot means a likely goose egg on a stage.

Okay, four - many of the less expensive setups and cannot dial much past 300y and I am not going to discourage anyone from a chance to participate and have fun willingly.

Eh, five - maybe if someone comes close to cleaning a match I’ll consider it. As a portion of a stage.

1) need to get US citizens out. they will be in danger. be like China in 30s.

Seriously though, I have had a couple 300BO pistols and had a red dot on one, and still do, and the other had a 1-6x on it. No issues with eye relief with the 1-6 and it was nice with a little more power to see longer targets but my main use for the one is just range fun and house gun so a red dot works just fine and I wear glasses and have astigmatism. No problems with the star shaped dot dropping it in the center of a target. Not shooting over 200 yards with it.
