Eh, you can be intentionally obtuse if you like.

That said, a 22lr trainer rifle does little for centerfire rifle shooting. You can be even lazier with a 22lr rifle than you can be with a 22 pistol. Spotting impacts? My 22 rimfire recoils so little that I need to move the reticle out of the way to see impacts on paper. And it’s a semi auto so I don’t need to break position to run the bolt. And, it’s precise enough to win 22lr comps. It’s great for what it is, but it’s not a trainer.

Oh, well you can get better at reading the wind. Well, you can do that with a wind meter while walking the dog too.

I’ve read that more and more people are dropping the rimfire trainer idea, realizing their time and money is better spent shooting their main squeeze.

Yeah still have it, couple people have inquired but no one has pulled the trigger on it yet

I found a guy that 3d prints mounting solutions for whatever wall system you have and whatever gear you want to hang. There are thousands of solutions here, even mounts for things you never knew you needed mounted. I recommend looking around here because after you see the mounting options, it might help you make a decision on what wall system to buy.


Use the menu at the top of the page to pick what you want to hang then go to the wall system you use.

I’ll get a photo of the new FML-WBR reticle for the prs edition that’s likely the best reticle for comparison to most of these mentioned.

I have the mini brakes on mine but honestly my volume of fire nor rate of fire is enough to realize any potential gain from erosion just because I don't shoot enough.

Just trying to share things when i can; that while trivial, and likely menial, took me a while to figure out and are often overlooked.
