Well hello everyone, finally got my account working again after the backend switch.
You need some nice glass? Well I've got it, as well as a nice little collab with Zeiss.
MKM Zeiss Optics
Now through the end of the month, any Zeiss purchase on my site (linked above) will receive the following at no charge:
- Set of Ultra-Light Zeiss Rings ($200 std price)
- Kenton Custom Turret ($130 std price)
- Zeiss Scope Cap Set, XLP Level, and Pro Series Lever ($195 std price)
We have a bunch of the "precision" oriented scopes in stock, S3 & S5. Other optics have fairly spotty inventory on the shelf, but are just a few days away from getting delivered. There's a ton of reticle options and I don't stock them all.
Why this deal you may ask? To be frank, I want to have more success in the high-end hunting optic market. We just moved to a significantly larger, significantly nicer retail shop (separate from manufacturing) where I want to be known for nice optics in Mid-Missouri, where you can get hands on to make a decision.
Zeiss was kind enough to assist on this, and I think it's a pretty dang good deal

That would be the right way to do it, but by the time I got to that I was so disgusted I just wanted it over with. I've bought and sold 8 homes and that is the only one I lost money on.Pussy! A real man would have cut a hole in the drywall big enough for a hammer drill and anchored that wall properly!
ETA... I actually would have and then just patched the rock.
To anyone who ends up at Ft. Sill, dont buy, just rent until you can get out of Lawton, LOL. Just kidding its not that bad of town but doesnt have much to offer the youth.

The only thing I've ever seen that used a socket that big was an impact we carried around with a drot. Which is a small crane for those that don't know.
Boy ain't that the truth. A little over a year ago I got the call to inform me that a close friend of mine had passed. He was 83. He was still a pretty capable guy in his old age. He got off balance when he got up out of his easy chair, fell and hit his head on the couch and he was gone.
I met him in my late teens and knew him a little more than twenty years. I was closer to him than some of my own family.
He did some gunsmithing on the side after he retired, which is how I met him. After he passed, I purchased his lathe and tooling from his widow. I've built a few rifles of my own on that machine now and it brings back good memories when I'm out in the shop making chips on that old machine.
Got another call a couple weeks ago at an odd hour in the evening from a number I didn't recognize. My heart sank when I heard the voice on the other end when I answered. It was my hunting buddy's wife calling to inform me that my friend had suffered a mild stroke. He's my dad's age, mid sixties. He's doing good now though. We're taking a trip to the lease next weekend.
