Looking to see if I could find a spotter for an upcoming ELR competition?

I have an opportunity to shoot an ELR Match that will bring multiple sniper teams from around the world. Ward Brien w/ Snipertools.com is putting it on middle of this July. Of course I'd take care of all travel expenses and lodging. I would also pay you for your time. I've shot at this facility several times in the past w/ Ward Brien. The course is spread out over 2.5 days and begins around July 18th. Call me for questions - 713-449-4699

DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

A 1moa shooter with a 1moa gun can win a PRS match. Not so with the above mentioned discipline. The accuracy demands of the rifle are far greater, as well as for the shooter. These guns are the reason Lapua and Eley lot testing facilities exist.
The question wasn’t about accuracy but equipment demands as was mentioned after my post.

My solution to protestors who interrupt Congressional proceedings

That or one of these hybrid gag/spit-masks that they put on some of the most unstable inmates when they carry them out to the courtroom. And leave them on the troublemaker until the press and bystanders with their phones had taken enough pictures and videos to be satisfactory. It is EXTREMELY embarrassing and humiliating to be detained with one of these placed on one's face and nowadays, Internet infamy is quite easy to obtain. If that is what they want, give it to 'em...

Baseball commissioner told Pete.. Pete, you'll never live to see yourself in the hall of fame.

MLB lifts Pete Rose, ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson bans in shocking reversal that opens Hall of Fame paths

Rose, placed on the league’s permanently ineligible list in August 1989 for gambling on baseball, was reinstated by commissioner Rob Manfred on Tuesday — and was joined by “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and other deceased former players who were on the permanently ineligible list.

“Obviously, a person no longer with us cannot represent a threat to the integrity of the game,” Manfred wrote in a letter
Should have put Charlie Hustle in prior to his death. Damn shame

MPA Rifle rings or one peice scope mount?

Interesting, I was always worried about not having enough adjustability in the cheek rise for a higher mounted scope. You guys really think I should bump it up slightly higher? Like AR10 height? (pretending I have a handguard that I don't)

That would be up to you as different people like different heights depending on their facial structure and neck. I don’t like AR height on my bolt guns. Depending on the rifle the 1.125-1.26” area is where I like to stay. You can wait until you see how the rifle fits you when it comes in if you wanted. Would only be a few days to get a mount after you knew what worked for you.

For reference here is a pic of a MPA Matrix Pro II chassis with my Vudoo in it with a 1.26” height mount holding a scope similar in size to the one you plan to use. Asking you can see the chassis has plenty of adjustment.

Bag 'Em and Gag 'Em
Takes the fight right out of them. Surprises them and shuts them up, very disorienting, unable to effectively resist, safer for the officer, and keeps them out of the camera. Had this done to me in Special Forces, don't see a problem.

And, as an interesting sidenote, one of the SF missions is CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue). Back during the Cold War, we would likely rescue a downed pilot 300 plus miles inside occupied territory. We would then insert them into the "pipeline" with the underground to get them back to friendly lines. It was SOP to bag and gag the pilot until we could verify his identity. Back then, a very slow process. Team equipment included a finger print kit and a camera. We would use the Fingerprint Identification System and send the data back by burst communication. We could also take photo's and a physical copy of the fingerprints for pick up by aircraft.

Surprise Air Force! Believe me, I don't enjoy this, LOL.

If he was really lucky, he would get an "E" ticket ride of his life on an MC-130E with the Fulton STAR recovery system

CIA Pilatus Porter. We would suspend a package on a line strung between two poles and the Pilatus would use a hook to snag the line and the attached package. I trained with the CIA using this technique. The Pilatus would snag the line which was only about 15 feet above ground level.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Hungarian forces ready to reclaim land taken from them in 1938 ? is what my quick read was.

Is this correct?

I think this is tactically smart, politics aside. I haven't seen any maps detailing the land in "play" but if it doesn't overlap the ruskies intentions it helps them as I see it.

Ukraine or is it now Ugone?

I don't see anyone spinning up to help this late in the game.

XM7 worries from the field.

😆 Spoken like someone with a username of “DeathBeforeDismount”.

Yes, explosives are the most casualty producing weapon, but small arms still routinely account for 30-40% of casualties in war. And when you have that conventional dismounted infantry platoon taking fire from a distance and outside the range of brigade artillery, but the nearby ODA is hogging all the CAS, then yeah you need small arms with some reach.
YUP! Machine gun teams got a lot of action then. AND they werent producing suppressing fire either, they were killin people.
