I go back to what I tell people... every month we are shipping a few hundred ammunition test barrels. Accuracy and pressure test barrels. If there is a problem with the barrels or the steel.... I'm going to be hearing it way faster from one of these places than from anyone else. I can literally count on one hand that in the last 26 or so years.... where there was two maybe three barrels that just shot o.k./not great.

So how does one place get 7 of them... and 6 don't shoot? Something else is going on.

Other than the one gun that was shooting 4moa as they received it they told me the other 5 wouldn't even shoot 1moa. Didn't shoot 4moa but wouldn't even shoot 1moa.

Yesterday I was shooting an OG Aluminum-Lithium Hodge AU Mod 2 gun fitted with a new Geissele CHF heavy barrel (which is a fucking laser BTW!). On top was a Schmidt Dual CC. Fuckin' peak bouge circa 2019.

Even for what I paid for that once-unobtainium gun and stupid expensive German optic, I'm STILL over $1k south of that Geissele/Vortex combo.

This is beautiful. Did you manage to find a factory barrel or did you have one made?

For me for this gun I’d use an LPVO. Vortex 1-10 or NF 1-8 ATACR.

Though the ZCO 4-20 looks like a good fit too if you want to run a secondary red dot or set of sights for up close.
