WE, THE (MOST PROPAGANDIZED) PEOPLE

And why do you think that is, Sherlock?

These are countries that the beloved Anglosphere has trampled on is in the process of trampling upon, yes?

That certainly sounds like G7 propaganda - it may have been trendy in the late 80s to early 90s, but has since gotten a little long in the tooth.

Only a fool would consider personalities such as Carlson a source of serious information.

But in fairness to your statement, there are numerous flies who flock to high - traffic threads full of manure thinking their inane Twitter posts are of any substance.

I have yet to see a greater example of irony - with all this coming from someone whining about the Russians having come knocking at Ukraine’s door.
The US never trampled over Iran, as Iran was one of our biggest allies in the region.

The Muslim revolutionaries saw the US and any Western nation as their enemies, for ideological and religious reasons, but you often find that these types of groups are almost always proxies for major powers.

If you read through the Soviet archival records on the 1979 Revolution, it’s a mixed bag of claiming total shock that it happened, vs them thinking they could share some kind of common ground with them, and the practical aspects of ousting the Shah.

The Soviets did not like it that the US sold F-4Es, F-E/F, and F-14A with full weapons suite to Iran. The Soviets were used to being able to violate Iranian airspace at their pleasure until introduction of the F-14A/AWG-9 into the mix, so they saw US supplying of Iran as a major strategic threat to them close to their Caucuses Republics’ borders.

Remember that the Soviets and Brits invaded Iran back in 1941.

It’s best to spend the time to put in the reps and years studying all of these things before jumping straight into rhetoric. I would recommend avoiding rhetoric altogether and focus more on geography, then history.

Precious-few people even in the US diplomatic corps or senior levels of DoD know any of this information, because of the schooling system in the US.

There is nothing ironic about my posts about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine relative to this subject. I don’t have a ADHD Twitter account, nor do I rely on any of these stupid social media platforms for primary source information.

What you’re going to see moving forward is a bigger house of cards built on internet-based knowledge only, where millennials and Gen Z truly believe that what’s on the internet is comprehensive enough to inform them well.

They don’t even realize that most of the information online is not accessible to them, as it’s in the Deep Web, and most of that is silo’d.

Buying a plane after retirement

Holy shit! Dude I used to work with just cut off his right arm trying to clear the prop on his plane…

He was manually rotating the prop trying to clear a starter issue; did it right the first time, but forgot to turn off the ignition the second time. He’s damn lucky to be alive.

He’s an extremely experienced pilot, with 10’s of thousands of hours in jets and of course his private aircraft…please take your training seriously and be deliberate in all things related to flying. This is a singularly unforgiving activity in all phases of flight, even the ground ops, and you need to slow things down, especially when first starting out.

MB, I just wanted to mention that the L3i Stinger magazine has a round shaving problem in my Vudoo. It happens intermittently, and is present no matter how I adjust the height of the magazine. The way I discovered it was that I was getting random fliers I wasn’t getting with the poly mags. If you can design yours with this in mind as well, it would be greatly appreciated.
Yessir, I'm aware. When they, admittedly, copied my mag, there were some features left out that controls the departure angle on the way to the chamber. Also, many are under the impression there's a feed ramp in the front top of the magazine. There isn't, as the bullet would/will touch such a feature when it shouldn't touch anything enroute to the chamber.

It amazes me that people in 2025 still believe this....

It’s interesting that whoever planted the Carcano on the 6th floor, along with the cartridges and spent cases, made sure the cases and ammunition were from a Western Cartridge Company CIA contract from 1954.

Whoever did that dropped a bomb in the lap of LBJ and Hoover, which had to be cleaned up and hidden from the public. There were layers of distractions built into the assassination, including an epileptic who an ambulance responded to right between the Dal-Tex Bldg and County Records Bldg, then disappeared.

Lots of distractions and diversions to help the shooters escape and leave alternate trails for investigators to go down, wasting time and resources. It was very well-planned and executed on several levels.

Night Vision N Vision still one of the best?

Price was never part of the original discussion. You mentioned software, form factor, but never price. At over a decade old it's amazing the UTC Xii still has "advantages". PoT is the Modern-Day variant that is readily available, updated software, and comes with a warranty.

Now if this is released anywhere near its rumored price and timeframe... Then this conversation may change 🤷‍♂️

I think we will be stocking these :)

We may finally know who’s been to the island

No doubt the dem leadership is using it to turn screws. But come on Donald the Epstein shit isn’t a hoax.

Tucker hit the nail on the head with his tpusa speech. Keep feeding us appetizers while nothing of real substance is done and we kick the foreign wars can.

AR Tuning question

Right on. I did have a lock back prob after a couple thousand rounds on an spr with bartlein barrel with the same SA gas block system. I swapped the SOLGW bcg for another and and it’s run fine ever since. I assume the gas key was leaking just enough to screw up the gas. That bolt has worked in another full gas/duty style gun ever since as well.

I’ll try swapping bcg in this gun as well.

The gas tube is new with the block and bcg upon barrel replacement. The bcm stock barrel was key holing after about 35k.

I didn’t realize there was a standard buffer under an H. Lots of stuff to recheck here, thanks again everyone.

FUBAR times 6!

Never even heard of a Negative cant base.
Me neither. My guess is (also sounds like a different place made the mounts) when they made the mounts they had them in the mill backwards and it came out with a neg. MOA.

Just goes back to though the place doing all the finish work and assy just wasn't paying attn to detail.

The only thing we seen that was good was the headspace was good on all 4 rifles. Must have been luck on that.

Why So Many Young Americans Fall for Socialism.

To a point I can see this as a good idea. We dont need to have troops stationed all over the world. That shit is expensive, and doesnt work.

At 18, or upon the completion of school, EVERYBODY (including the polititians and their families) serves a year, learns to use all weapons, and learns a (I think y'all call it an MOS?) Then goes home and back to work. If you can legitimately claim conscientious objector, you get a non combat MOS but you serve.

Keep a small, tight, skeleton crew and a plan to call up everyone on a moments notice.

Wont happen but we can dream.
It would work better if the leash was taken off. Hard to win an ass kicking contest with your legs and arms bound behind you.
