6.5 PRC in a shortie?

250fps extra with the 123 Absolute Hammer over another 123 gr bullet. Not sure if it was eldm, scenar, different cup/core, or a different solid design like one of theirs, a Barnes, or yours.

Hammer claims 3-400 fps gain with that particular bullet on their webpage.

If I can break 3k at the muzzle with a 123 gr copper solid an a 16.5” 6,5 creed I would be blown away.

Like in my world (medical).
people eating a fatty carnivore diet and becoming thin, losing their DMII, BP issues, and a load of other med issues that only pills or shots were pushed to treat before.
That is incredibly hard to believe, especially when doing competitor testing. We see 3050 with our 122 in a 20" barreled 6.5 Creed and 3380 with a 6.5 PRC of the same length.

That being said, if the data is there and repeatable so be it.

Maximum distance you can reliably first-shot impact 1MOA, 1/2MOA target?

I'm pretty confident to hit WITHIN 1 MOA of what I'm aiming at, at 400 yards and in (under normal to good conditions)... But that means a 2 MOA target. If I bet on that, I'd certainly win more times than I'd lose, but I wouldn't have a 100% success rate either.

In poor weather, there's no way I'd have that confidence level.

Betting on hitting an actual MOA target, I'd be a lot closer to 50/50.

I try really hard to connect with a half-MOA dot at 650 when I shoot off the back of my yard. I probably have about a 10% success rate of hitting it, and maybe a 60% success rate of getting within that MOA of it. There are also plenty of times I'm 8" away from it too. It is a great tool for me working on making that good shot at 400 and in... which is my personal limitations for taking a shot at a deer size or smaller animal.

Why are AR15s so difficult to shoot for the average shooter?

Ok ok @MadDuner

I publicly apologize for insulting you .

I kind of envisioned more of a lambasting and defense argument of your position.

I'm retired and should have all the reloading time in the world, but that's not how it pans out.

I have two sons two grandkids wife and daughter in law.
Son is busted up again, and grandkids have constraints.
My wife regularly shoots more ammo than I have time to.

I load them as much as I can of the good stuff and at the moment behind. I do some brass prep / prime off press while watching TV with my wife.

My position on reloading is I have a dillon and can crank out 223 sub moa pumpkin blasters (short range) with H335 some bob's bulk bullets (inexpensive) and sorted range pickup brass.

So I do, and promote reloading for economics of more accurate rounds than you can buy in most cases. I find it doesn't have to be perfect to beat factory ammo.

You should at least get a 55 gallon drum and save all that first fired brass for when you retire.

Lol

Edit: to add the PMC 55g ammo held 1 - 1 3/4 moa across 5 different ar's. We plowed a lot of pumpkins with it.

Daughter has celiac. Cant even touch flour products without a reaction. Many places in my area cater to "gluten free" Few understand Celiac disorders and have invested in a separate prep area.
As a guy who owns a wholesale bakery, an entire separate facility is actually needed to be compliant. We had a large volume customer who wanted us to make gluten free blueberry muffins. The buildings can’t even touch
