a most unusual looking conservative,but.....her point is valid and i would put myself in the class that she calls out. where i live walmart is about the only place for some things. there is Target, which we can recall from their pride BS try. it is a bit light on tools, hardware, fertilizer, fishing gear that class of stuff last i was there. groceries are easy to do non walmart. the other big option is Amazon which is China central, like walmart. at least Jeff buys the gas and one doesn't stand in line with 10 people in 1 of 3 lanes while 20 are closed due to self check out. that is an absolute no for me. there are book, music on line places non Amazon.
i wonder what co she is talking about.

Emotional roller coaster: 6 powder droppers in < 3 years!

I'm trying to avoid disconnecting the wires. I'll figure it out. Thanks for the suggestions! This ATV4 is better than I gave it credit for the first time around. And I know MKM Tyler, he will hook me up.
There is no need to disconnect the wires, just like there is no need for shims/tips or other such nonsense... But that's just my opinion from using my V4 since 2022. .02 is generally one kernel of many powders and .04 is generally about 2, maybe 3 kernels. Well within my tolerance. A world more accurate than my Chargemaster 1500.

308 Muzzle Velocity with 175gr

I get extractor marks on Lapua brass shooting 180gr Hornady Interlocs, Norma Oryx at 2580 fps. This using a Tikka .308 with a stock 24" barrel. Getting above 2600 with 175gr bullets seem close to the limit to me. Wonder what the Quickload calculations show?
When I use Varget (these days I'm mostly just using AR-Comp) 43.4 grs giving me a hair over 2700 fps where the sweet spot is for my rifle, having a 26" 1:8 heavy Krieger barrel. It's right at what QL says is max SAAMI pressure and I don't get any pressure signs. Here's the QL data I have for that (keeping in mind the burn rate for my lot of Varget has been adjusted to match my chrono data):

Boeing down in India

If the flaps were not set to the position the aircraft speeds were set for, then they would have had to ignore a checklist and a warning message. Large amounts of dust at rotation to me would indicate getting airborne at the very end of the rwy. Of the various possibilities, I would bet they either based their performance off of the full rwy length and then departed from an intersection, so the length was shorter than planned for. Or they used the wrong/ lighter weight for the performance numbers, forcing them to rotate as the end of the rwy was approaching. Rotation rate looks normal, and it doesn’t look like they had a tail strike, but the rotation continues to too high of a pitch, hence a stall.

Probably never added/went to max thrust as the end of the rwy was approaching, as that is not “procedure”……

Or the one in a billion software error where both engines went to idle thrust on their own!

The Shot You’ll Never Forget Giveaway - Enter To Win A Barrel From Rifle Barrel Blanks!

When I first got into shooting distance I thought a 600 yard shot was an amazing feat. I also thought a $400 Nikon scope was the greatest optic ever. (Luckily I set it on a PWS 308 and had someone who knew what they were doing custom load ammo and”sight it in for me. He cussed my Nikon)

Practiced on paper at 600 and felt pretty good then set up a feeder with lights and started shooting at wild hogs at night. After a week of thinking I was missing I took what I knew was a great shot but the dang pig ran off.

I was ready to throw my gun off the shooting stand, but I went and checked at the feeder just in case- found a 300lb boar dead about 20 yards away. Found three more dead pigs on the walk back to the truck from the nights before.
Thought I was hot stuff till I found this site and got educated on actual long shots and quality optics.

Y’all cost me a butt load on scopes by the way.

Most memorable

During BRM Qualifying back in the day.
Second 50 m pops up and I break the shot with A2 sights north of shoulder east of head. Thinking if I missed this i must be missing everything else miserably.

thinking I was not going to qual after holding expert scores in the practice leading up to this final day but was puckered so tight you couldn't put a stick pin up there with a dozer.

Head hanging low awaiting the final scores thinking how could you jump a shot that was that easy?????
Than my name called out.........

39 of 40. A THANK GOD MOMENT
There it is for the whole community to see.
