Many of these jobs could have completely automated over a decade ago, but the calculations were different.

“Am I going to pay 20 engineers, making $150k+/yr, to automate the jobs of those making $30k……and then keep paying a few of them to maintain the system?”

Versus

“Am I going to have 3 of my existing, non-engineering employees automate the jobs of those same people?”

The sad truth is that a majority of employees contribute very little. They give 2-3hrs of inefficient work per day and are lifted/elevated by the small number of productive experts.

That is odd as we fill out a 4473 for suppressors here.
Would think that's a Fed not a State thing

I did document the call with name number date etc. but that's the best I got.

The interesting thing I see though is the scammer are creating the account in batches like this, padding feedback and post stats, and then changing usernames to mimic posts when they try to intercept a deal.

Personally, I use a vibratory tumbler with walnut shell media and have not found a reason to make it any more complex or messy than that.

Agree. I tumble with dry media only to get rid of the dirt/crud that would harm my expensive dies. Shiny brass does not add to precision.

I deprime the brass, put it in an ultrasonic cleaner (with Lemishine and Dawn) for 45 mins, dry the brass then into a vibratory tumbler with walnut shells for 1 hr. Comes out as shiny as I want it and with minimal work. The reason I use the ultrasonic cleaner is to remove the carbon and primer residue before going into the tumbler. The media stays much cleaner and you don't have the carbon and primer residue dust floating around in the air. You will be surprised by how much residue is in the ultrasonic cleaner. That residue would normally be in your walnut media. Depriming first allows the primer pocket to be cleaned and prevents an air pocket in the case thus preventing the cleaning solution from getting to the inside of the case.

Doc, here is an enhancement idea for you. No idea how difficult it would be. Let us rename the devices. For example, I have 2 Fire4000 WMLRFs, would like to be able to name them something other than the serial so it makes it easier to distinguish.

Three friends I were shooting a potato cannon off my deck at an electrical transformer on a pole about 50 yards away. Alcohol may have been involved. Fishing one morning from the bank on Lake Livingston minding my own business. Lake is glass with no boats seen anywhere. Out of no where a boat and skier come into my fishing AO and start cutting it up where I'm fishing. Had a bottle rocket with me on a stick. I lit it and threw it to lead the skier. The bottle rocket wedged under the right armpit of the skier, exploded and knocked him in the water. Talk about a lucky shot!!! The boat swung around and picked up the skier and left. My only thought on this is
NICS for long gun transfers
State issued permit (required) for handgun transfers
They just left out the "handgun permit also works for long guns".
Why, I do not know because it would be awful easy to add long gun after handgun.
Because it is not written that way, I have made damn sure I got clarification from different agents over the years.
It would be nice to have it in writing but until then, I am taking the word of the agents I asked.

This will sound like bullshit but I’m an Eagle Scout and scouts honor this is 100% true. Multiple witnesses as well.

I had my sniper rifle and was watching the right side of the valley. One of my guys was 300m away on the left side of the valley. There was a silly terrorist running at him with an AK and my boys weapon was out of commission and I heard him scream for help on the comms. I pivoted swinging the rifle right to left. I only had one chance to save his life. Only the combatants head and neck was visible because of a wall and he was running from my left to right and I didn’t think I had a prayer but I led the target and sent it. I barely had time to put the reticle where I hoped it needed be and squeezed the trigger. Head shot dropped the combatant. I was shocked I made the shot. My boy still talks about me saving his life. I got a lot of compliments on the shot and it got me some recognition but what they all don’t know is I was just a dumb lucky mother. Well, my boy was the dumb lucky mother because he didn’t die

He was always wandering off by himself trying to be a hero. Young and dumb.
