Actually you are using a common debate technique involving seemingly agreeing with the opponent while simultaneously launching a counter-attack to undermine their argument. This can take the form of acknowledging a point, but then shifting the focus to highlight weaknesses or perceived inconsistencies in their overall position. This technique is often used to gain the upper hand in a debate by appearing reasonable while subtly trying to weaken the opponent's case.
I was tired and stressed last night and missed this. Guys, he is bored and looking to attack a well know opponent to have fun. I think it is time we let him go have fun playing with himself.

Rimfire Barricade Matches and Range trends…

Why can’t you hold 7-10 mils? The reticle is there with it and all you have to do is hold over. Same as dialing. That comes down more to practice and becoming proficient and confident. It’s far from impossible to do and you will spend more time dialing than finding your hold and being rushed will cause more misses than holding.

To the original question, yeah some are and that 300-350 range seems to be a good area to test the shooter but not make it more luck than skill but it’s always a little fun to push the range. Everyone is shooting it so it’s fair enough to toss one in there at 400+. The MD can use a little larger target if he wanted to make it a little easier.

Best AR-15/M16 Bolt Carrier Group For The Money…Who Ya Got??

I have had more issues with BCM BCGs than any other brand. A total of 3 carriers going down, 1 in a BCM gun, and 2 carriers in other guns. All were SBRs, and all were leaky keys. BCM did replace them all after a lot of coaxing (1 time had to get Pat Rogers involved), but I will never buy another.

Old Colt, Sionics and SOLGW make probably the best in spec carriers you can get.

Anyone remember the colt half moon bolt carriers?

SOLD MDT ACC Elite w/ all the fixings $1375

What is the purpose of the piece mounted in front of the mag well.
To keep the bag off of the mag. When you are running something like a game changer bag, you push into the rifle, that bag will push against your mag. That will put pressure on the front of the mag causing the mag to roll down. That is a great way to induce feeding issues. FWIW

Pistol ar....lvpo vs red dot

23 yrs and still going LEO. We actually did active shooter training in this particular school. The running joke is that it was designed off a prison since it resembles one so much. The kids are generally from lower income families so they are getting them prepared for their future. Our sheriff has our road guys still using carry handles and only Special Ops get reddots. I was the SWAT sniper for 5 years. I had a reddot and magnifier on my current AR but the SWAT LT didn't think he could win the argument of me modding my duty rifle, against policy, if used in an officer shooting so I had to take it off. Told him my eyes aren't what they used to be and the magnification would be helpful. We have large rural areas with lots of hunters. A long range engagement could happen without the time to wait for special units.

Well you may be in a school with your AR but I would bet the vast majority of Hide members would not be. 😉

Night Vision N-Vision Clip On Thermal ?

This is indeed a new offering. The specs look and sound amazing. I believe this is going to be about as close to "milspec" as we are going to get re: durability and features for less money than competing Pixels on Target products.

I think the rumored price was 10K.
Thanks for the reply.

I have not been taking the time to keep up with all the newest iterations and offerings hitting the market, so I'm dumb as a rock on what is new vs old.

I will sit on my hands until somebody gets more info to post.
