All I'm going to say is that I have had good luck with Liberty / Satern barrels in 6.5 Grendel for the AR 15 Platform.
I spent a lot of money on a Craddock 6.5 Grendel barrel and sold it.

I’ve purchased two things from them. C457 13rd mag and DINA weight and had to work on both to get them to work.

I don't own one of these because my Vudoo polymers work perfectly as long as you don't touch them during the stage.
That said, these are good for a lot of people. But if that Spring is sticking in the middle of the magazine body, it is a burr, step, imperfection period. That passage needs to be as smooth as butter. No flash from the molding process. No steps no hitches of any kind on the magazine body internals and on the follower.

Having gone through this earlier this year, I can say don't overthink it. I started reloading my bolt 223 over the last month and the learning curve wasn't very steep. Just spent some time learning the setup, ruined 10 or so pieces of brass, and eventually loaded 950 rounds over about two weeks here and there. The ammo shoots about 0.6 to 0.7 MOA which I'm more than happy with. Here's my list that got me to this point. Spend whatever your budget allows knowing a lot of the items are going to last a very long time. I was doing it as budget friendly as I could without cheaping out on much and the ammo has turned out great and is easy to make. Next up for me is 6 ARC.

15 acres isn’t small church grounds… I’d find someone with a bush hog and a tractor. If your set on a ztr, we’ve been happy with our Scag.

15 acres is hefty. Is it littered with trees and other mow-arounds? How is the elevation? Fairly flat or bumpy?

I mow about 4 acres. I get gophers time and again so I’ve got some bumps.

The road is 5 foot higher than the yard in the front so I also have to mow that small hill.

All said, I’ve got a Kubota Z422 with a 54” deck and a Kawasaki engine.

This will be the fifth season mowing with it and it’s been rock solid. Other than oil changes and sharpening blades, I haven’t touched it.

I will grease the blade bearings and whatever else this year.

Kubota is advertising 0% down, .99% interest for 36 months if that helps.

Not sure where this information is coming from but I do not believe it to be accurate. That was not a rifle Remington built, perhaps the AMU did but they built all sorts of science experiments. By the time we (Remington) were affiliated/owned AAC were long past using the AICS 2.0 chassis. The AMU had a full machine shop and built MANY different rifles for a wide variety of events and reasons (sometimes "just because"). Just because they used a M24 action does not make it a "little known variant of the M24". If that is the case there are WAY more to include a variety of calibers out there that others did.

The M24 while being the issue rifle for the US Army and Air Force, it was also sold commercially, to law enforcement and internationally and thus many of them were in the wild. On top of this people have been faking the M24 from the beginning as well. In this case I have no doubt that the AMU got actions from RAC and built some guns for some reason (assuming this is true to begin with).

What are the 2 "tier 1" sniper schools you are referring to? Within the SOF community SOTIC (now the SF sniper school) was/is the only tier 1 sniper school although in the past they have stated that the USMC Scout Sniper instructor course would be considered a similar school. This is not necessarily due to the quality of school (although both are excellent) this has to do with who can work at primarily SOTIC. Each of the SF groups run their own sniper courses generally called "level 2" courses were are typically ~2 weeks or so (I ran them for many years). However, if you want to work at the school house you have to have graduated SOTIC (the level 1 course).

I don't know where the rifle/s depicted above came from but I am pretty certain they didn't come from RAC. I continue to be somewhat surprised and amused at the stuff popping up that supposedly has some provenance and pedigree. To all you potential buyers, ask for proof of any and all claims before spending a pile of money on any rifle.

I am sure the haters are going to come flying out of the woodwork, oh well. If the OP of the above gun personally worked at the AMU and had a hand building it/them then good on you but they are still not M24's, they are custom rifles using M24 actions.

Long story short, he started doing lawn work on the side (of course not telling me) and when it all went down he stole the mower

Had it out for a second time last weekend and remain amazed how tight groups are getting on the Rock River LAR 8 Elite Operator. I actually pulled off a 1", 5 shot group using 168 grain Federal Gold Medal Match. All these years I thought it was a 2+" gun. So either bare-muzzled or with the 36 TI can there's no PoI shift and groups definitely have tightened up. So bye-bye Smith Enterprise Vortex flash hider.

(Now, I'm thinking about pulling the flash hiders and brakes off of all my rifles and doing "with" and "without" tests.)

BUT what is clear is that even with this flow-through suppressor it's overgassed. I'm not getting blowback in the face but the spent cases are a bit sooty and ejection is almost directly forward. So, clearly hard on the action. Rock Rivers are not standard AR-10 rifles and that particular model's been out of production for a while. I'm going to give them a call but I'm wondering if I'm even able to put an adjustable gas port on it. Unfortunately I'll probably lose the front iron sight but, no matter, I really can't shoot irons anymore anyway.

This is the same thing they did to me. I tried contacting them to cancel after a long wait and nothing happening but to no avail. I disputed the charge with my CC and, for over a month, they were unable to contact Aero as well. The charge was removed pending Aero contacting the CC within 90 days. At almost the 90 days, still no contact with my CC provider, I got a shipping notification. It was signature required so I refused the shipment. Never again will I order or even use any Aero product!
