By lasing edges and tops I can see exactly where the beam is getting a return from. Although things seemed bang on at 100 meters (0.7 mil/2.75" high) past 400 meters I had to hold 0.4 to 0.5 under instead of the expected 0.1 to 0.2 and so I adjusted it further so it's around 0.2 high (need a 0.2 hold under) at 400m. Also had to slightly adjust windage.

Again I'm sure everyone has their own way of checking things but this has worked for me.

Anything with sky behind it works really well, that way if you don’t get a reading you know you didn’t hit. I like to use skylined power poles or street lights because they have a vertical and horizontal beam to check against.
Or just do it at night with a clip on, you can see the ranging laser under nods which makes it easy.

Most everything I read or hear is nothing but a lie when I talk to folks via Radio, in near/far away places that were there, or know trusted types that were there. Then weeks/months or year later a retraction that you have to have a 100X micro scope to see, or a monster pre-amp to hear is placed in a shit stain, most never see or hear. If the goal is to start WWIII or CW II just start that shit and see if ends in a way that's to your liking.

Let’s get this one back on track… Re-barreled one of my 6.8 guns back to 5.56, and got it a new matching sling to boot!

As an aside, did anyone here grab one of those limited run ODG anodized NF scopes with matching scope mount that EuroOptic was selling a few months ago? I passed on one at the time as I was in the middle of my second retirement while also trying to finish my shop build, and wanted to ensure we’d be gtg on the finances.

Now that things have settled down, I’m back in the market but they’re nowhere to be found.
