That's what I'd get too if I had the extra $$$$$$ for it, well except in Red.

I like the looks of C6's, not so much C7's, but love the body style of C8's. Your C8 is more performance than I could ever need/want.

Our Camry hybrid is surprisingly spirited so I bet that C8 screams.

I have been really wanting to try a K&P. Spoke to LRI recently about doing one because they partner with K&P but they don’t do pre-fits. Not even for the super common stuff like 737’s. They also cost more than a PVA pre-fit. I can send one of my 737s to them for the first barrel but I don’t feel like parting with one right now. I have heard nothing but good things though.

I was so happy with my results earlier this week, I went back to do a little more shooting.

The Blackarc Munitions 110 Gr Barnes black tip makes about 2,170 FPS out of an 8" Craddock Precision stainless barrel. The same gun pushes a SIG 120 gr copper round that is a specific short barrel load, so this is picking up about 75 FPS. I've found the SIG load to be mediocre in accuracy, but good terminal performance on pigs. As a practical matter, the 8" is a 100 yard gun at the most as set up anyway. With that said, I have some of the Phantom 85 gr headed this way to see how fast the 8" pushes that - but I think the 12.5" and Blackarc are destined to go kill a bunch of pigs.

The AAC / ACOG + SRO / Blackarc continues to to make me very, very happy regarding accuracy and reticle calibration. The large circle with the "2" is with the SRO, the "4" is with the ACOG, both at 100 off a tripod - then I went to 300 as the other day I hit 200 and 400 with great results - also dead on at 300 as the drops would indicate. At that distance, the diamond is about covering the torso, but it makes clear the reason the ACOG revolutionized combat effectiveness.

Need some advice on reloading 6.5C.

New to the game and initially purchased 600rds of loaded Berger 140g Hybrids with intention to reload with the Lapua brass. I'm definitely hook line and sinker with precision now and would like to invest the time to develop and reload this caliber.

With the time and money I will be investing. And the spotty availability of LRP and reported longevity SRP pockets.
Should I sell my once fired LRP Lap brass and invest in a case of virgin SRP Lap brass
Or
just use what I got (the once fire LRP Lap brass)?

Looking forward to sharing in the future.

I have several ads up also. What’s sold has been priced under market a decent bit, and what hasn’t sold is priced the same. I’m not planning to reload anymore, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to give perfectly good powder or other supplies away.

I picked 5 rounds of the Hornady at random out of 185 remaining rounds. The bolt lift was still heavy but less than the initial 15 rounds. There were overpressure marks like before.

The Berger 215 Hybrid Target cartridges were flawless. Bolt ran like butter. There were no overpressure signs. SD of the 10 rounds was 4.1.

The Hornady SD for today's 5 and the 15 prior was approximately 14.4.

I'll stick with the Berger, and Hornady is going to get a call tomorrow. I'm sure nothing will come of it, but I am going to try.

Hopefully @Ledzep will give you free ammo for life

It looks like it may be adjustable for 30-06 or .303 brit. The blank/dummie round for rifle grenade launching theory looking better.
