This is exactly correct. All the way down to stupid fuck city ordinances. The idea we are surrounded by "laws" that are enforced discriminately depending on who answers said call, who is called, what they did or what they feel like doing that day is retarded. If laws are not enforced there is zero reason to have them. ALL laws should be enforced, jay walking, logan act, unkempt lawns, traffic violations. I want that boot on every Americans neck as hard as it can be. THEN, maybe the masses might understand we may have gone a little far with all these "laws" and "enforcement". Looking at you "patriot act" faggot....

techy guys, please read. looking for summer internship in tech field for sophomore college student.

thanks goodrich, I also thought between jr and senior years was the more important time,, yet as I have been talking to a lot of folks in the industry, (recruiters, managers, etc) so many have been telling me that resume-wise, this summer was pretty important. to be honest, as a retired boomer, (i retired young at 47) I am fairly checked out on the whole thing and got involved in this pretty late as i realized my son might be behind the curve resume-wise. so I am scrambling a bit trying to be supportive.

Would you get into 6.5 Grendel in 2024?

It’s hard to reload at that price for sure. I was very close to picking up a few boxes, had them in my cart and the card primed. Then I remembered that it was just sort of “meh” out of my current main squeeze. And, I am set up to reload ammo that is not “meh.” That walked me back from the edge.

Don’t get me wrong, Hornady black 123 bthp is sub moa in one of my other grendels, but it’s 2-4 moa out of the one I’m sitting behind as I type this. (I took it and some black out to the range this morning…)

Up side, I’ll have a few more pieces of brass to add to the reloading stack… Downside, id rather buy ammo my gun likes…

ZCO 420 vs NF 420 on a gas gun.

Agree, but they should note it as a v 1.1 or some other way, rather than stealth. Stealth leans on brand equity negatively on the consumer side and works in the dealer's favor - ie can't be quantified by consumer, just trust us and buy a new widget if your current widget disappoints in any way.

Pretty much every manufacturer does it, are we seriously going to deter innovation when consumers win in the end? That's ludicrous! Some price increases over time allow them to make these changes for better material, coatings, QC, more machines, more employees etc...

Damned if you do, damned if you don't

STOP INNOVATING EVERYONE!!!!

The new Athlon Ares BTR G3 2.5-15x50, initials, and ongoing thoughts.

Not quite the same scope, but I just added a Gen 3 Ares in 4.5-27x from Cameraland and I'm really disappointed in the glass. I put it on my Tikka 22lr thinking it would be a step up from my Helos BTR Gen 2 4-20 but less cost than a used Cronus. It's almost as if the focus on it isn't quite fine enough so at 100 yards, you can't bring the picture into clarity. I'm a big fan of the Cronus and Helos I have so I was hoping this would fall somewhere between, but It just isn't what I was hoping on the glass clarity.
I was really hoping it would have great glass.

I just bought a Helos BTR g2 4-20 as well and LOVE it. Great glass. I put it on my 6 arc and couldn't be happier with it.

Suppressors Mount or direct thread?

I have a fair bit of experience shooting suppressed, but until recently, I've never felt compelled to own a suppressor. I've always thought that shooting suppressed was more of a pain in the butt than it was worth.

I have, however, reached the point where I'm thinking that it doesn't make sense not to invest in a few. In any case, I have a couple of them coming. The big question that I have bouncing around in my head now is the attachment method.

It was my intention to just go direct thread, but the YHM srx system seems pretty cool. In my research, I've run across comments made by reviewers wherein they noted that the choice of mounting system can affect the sound of the report to the extent that it can make the difference between the report being painful to the ear and not.

Have any of you experienced this?
