Mixing brass lots, same headstamp.

People trying to go interpret a bunch of half moa groups is a frequent occurrence on this site. I actually don’t think most realize they have no idea what was gun vs shooter at that small of a difference and would be better off picking based on the chrono at that level
What would one look for with the chrono to decide? Or do you just mean as a check of reloading consistency.

I have been one to point out the great lengths people go to in reloading for no good reason. At the end if the day each guy gets to cook his steak how he likes to.

I think when a lot guys find their magic load for a new barrel, it just represents what they were shooting when everything smoothes out enough to calm down.

So internment camps for anti-vaxers are still on

The shooter WAS Vaxxed. He’s hardly an “anti-vaxxer.”
Met a guy a few weeks ago that took it to preserve his carreer. He's only a few years from retirement. He's having a real hard time living with his decision. Hates himself because of it. He said at the time, he couldn't see a way around it. Now he wishes he'd just walked away from it all. Hindsight is always 20/20.
You can be a vaxed anti-vaxer.
I'm sure it made a lot of them.

Maggie’s Powder Valley Warehouse Burned Down

Maybe because thats what insurance companies do... like 9 out of 10 times.

How many insurance stories have you read where the person was like "oh my fuck they gave me 125% value for my car that was totaled"? Most likely between 0 and 1...

How many insurance stories have you read where the insurance company offered like 50% value of the item and claim market rate, when everybody(including them) knows its complete horse shit. Then you take weeks on end, maybe a lawyer, etc... to get them to come up to a more reasonable number, which is generally probably still low.... My guess is a ton.

I think thats why people are expecting a hassle when it comes to dealing with insurance no matter the product being insured...

My guess is PV, like most everybody if they are honest, was under-insured, but possibly not due to the product they inventoried. Hell its possible somebody wouldnt even SELL them fire insurance and they could be royally fucked... no clue. If they have the policy limits and the live computer inventory of their warehouse it should be a pretty easy settlement. Stuff like the value of the building and other things will be where they possibly get into a tug of war with the insurance.
Honestly? Me.

When we had the wildfires of 2007 rip through our community (look up Westwood and 2007 wildfires), causing damage to my own home, USAA was there the day they lifted the lock down on our community (the one that was on the international news, showing literally rows of homes going up in smoke).

They not only helped us file the claim, but pointed out things we could, and should, claim, aside from the fire damage (lost food in the freezer from the power being shut off, the re-painting of the entire house, not just the corner that got scorched, or the dry wall and garage door that had to be replaced due to it being knocked down by the FD to get at the gas line in the wall that was on fire, professional house cleaning to get all the ash and smoke smell out of the house).

So, yeah, there actually are a lot of people that make claims like this. The problem is no one complains about good service, just when it's bad.

Firearms GA Precision Rock 260 Rem (reduced $)

If you ever wanted to add a very cool classic to your GAP collection here’s your chance!

All original and in excellent condition. I bought this rifle from a Hide member years ago. Total round count is just under 600 rounds. Rifle was built by Tim “Moon” Roberts back when he was at GAP.

Trued Rem 700 G prefix action
Bartlien fluted 24” barrel 1-8 twist
McMillan HTG stock
Sunny Hill steel bottom metal
Jewel trigger.
Badger Ordnance 20 MOA base, Rings and bolt knob
Harris BRM-S bipod with KMW Pod-Loc
Triad Tactical stock pack
Nightforce 3x15-50 MOA NP-R1 reticle (scope is newer than rifle with little use, glass is excellent)

I have around 50 pieces of once fired brass that I’ve found so far and will go with.
Also have 3 boxes of the old Black Hills loaded 139 gr Lapua Scenar ammo that shoots well through these rifles. Have another partial box (12 rds) of Berger 130 gr hunting vld. (You pay shipping on the ammo)

Asking $3500 for the package (I’ll split shipping/Insurance w/you to your FFL)
Rifle only w/brass and ammo $2400 (will split shipping/ins on rifle to your FFL)

Possible FTF, I’m an hour drive north of Little Rock, AR.
Im available to text, talk, or need more pics, just dm for my number.
PP F&F, Zelle, USPS money order, cashiers or certified check is fine.

My old Hide account was dormant for years and when reactivated the only thing that transferred was the date I registered back in 2009. My old username was “Heber” and I’m on the “good guy” list from years ago. If you receive an unsolicited DM about this it’s probably a scam, I’ll only reply. Thx.

Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Try this on for size, does the bulletin of atomic scientists lie?

yea, and? the picture is bullshit.

the picture is what I addressed in both of my posts.

I looked through your article, and unless that picture didnt load on my browser for some reason, I didnt see it there. if it is there then all the info is suspect(I dont believe it is but), in this day and age, if media is lying about one part, they are most likely lying about most of it and that makes all of it questionable.

on an adjacent point, where in the continental US are they gonna go for a experimental bomb test that has zero people within 150 mile radius?

Im absolutely not saying what they did was right, not saying they didnt do it, and not saying it never occurred, but at the time they only had some educated guesses what would even happen when, or if, it detonated.

if the gub'ment doing something like this to its citizens is surprising to you, you should do some homework on what governments, including our own government, can and will do to their own people or have already done to them, and have done to them throughout history.

I mean, Shirley, at the very least, you can remember the whole covid thing?

anywhoo, after all that, my point is/was that the picture is bullshit.

Read between the lines boys & girls

Not really. You ever wonder why more people don't take out the perp as soon as they commit a crime, or why people do not what to get involved?
Its because the scumbag has more rights than those the law was written to protect. No one seems to care about the victims unless it was someone in the JUST-US system after the deed is done, as they are more worried about the perps rights. The only right the perp has is to pay up right then & there, until that happens it just empowers them(perps) to do more as they know the punishment is total B/S for the crime. We don't need more jails & prisons we need street justice on the spot,...

Unless I am reading it wrong you just recounted the problem with how the law and punishment are being applied. In which case you should have said exactly, instead of not really.
