Try this on for size, does the bulletin of atomic scientists lie?
The Trinity test site was chosen, in part, for its supposed remove from human inhabitation. Yet nearly half-a-million people were living within a 150-mile radius of the explosion, with some as close as 12 miles away. None were warned or evacuated by the US government ahead of time.

yea, and? the picture is bullshit.
the picture is what I addressed in both of my posts.
I looked through your article, and unless that picture didnt load on my browser for some reason, I didnt see it there. if it is there then all the info is suspect(I dont believe it is but), in this day and age, if media is lying about one part, they are most likely lying about most of it and that makes all of it questionable.
on an adjacent point, where in the continental US are they gonna go for a experimental bomb test that has zero people within 150 mile radius?
Im absolutely not saying what they did was right, not saying they didnt do it, and not saying it never occurred, but at the time they only had some educated guesses what would even happen when, or if, it detonated.
if the gub'ment doing something like this to its citizens is surprising to you, you should do some homework on what governments, including our own government, can and will do to their own people or have already done to them, and have done to them throughout history.
I mean, Shirley, at the very least, you can remember the whole covid thing?
anywhoo, after all that, my point is/was that the picture is bullshit.
