Rifle Scopes Hunting Scope suggestions

Hunting is the reason I shoot. I have or have had ZCOs, Kahles, Zeiss LRPs, Steiner T6Xi's etc etc on comp guns. I don't let money limit me on what I put on primary use rifles, whether that is hunting or competition. That said, my two primary hunting rifles wear Maven RS 1.2 2.5-15x44's. FFP/MIL with an excellent hunting reticle. Taken close shots in basically full dark conditions without the illumination on at 2.5x and also taken deer out to 500ish with them. Literally not another scope out there at the moment that checks as many boxes as it does for a hunting rifle. And yeah, I'm one of the RS kool-aid drinkers who won't risk his once a year 10-14 day trip in the backcountry with a Leupold or Swarovski that has to be re-zeroed if you look at it wrong...
I've read a bunch of positive things on the Maven. I might have to try one. That's good to hear about the reticle being usable without illumination.

Xero C1 Pro - v3.30 update

With this hiccup maybe the new athlon will replace these units......... I'm sure garmin will get a fix just sucks
I’m still curious. Was yours rifle mounted and has it always been? I think you already said it was the same this time as always before.

Reason I ask is that I think it couldn’t hurt to dig down a bit as to if there’s a pattern in some way or not. That could influence a bug correction if @Garmin is following.

Homely Depot huh ?

Too much of a coincidence to not be. We had the same experience(s). Their supplier is pretty inept. Multiple instances of pieces being cut wrong/backwards. The estimator/guy taking the measurements and the installers were great.

The supplier finally got it right, but a two day install took something like 3.5 or 4 months to finally get it all done.

I place HD in the same class as Walmart. Not on my go to list.

Independent business. Great reviews, in business for decades, etc.

I’ve already told him if he cannot finish Monday, don’t bother coming.

I used a HD or Lowes (don’t recall) contractor once about 25 years ago. Never again.

ELR match at Ben Franklin Range in western Pa April 19th

There were 17 spots on Wed and it was no longer on the calendar Thursday. I saw the other match, but honestly, $1200 to shoot 4 stages and taking 2 days to get all that in, does not sound appealing. Especially with the payout structure being so low given the cost being so high.
oh ok, yep so maybe it's cancelled. They mentioned having another in July, but who knows.

The $1200 is if your a team of 1. A team of 4 would be $300 per I believe.
