Proper assembly for pre-fit on ARC CDG action?

Part of the plan was to use chassis weights to compensate for the carbon barrel, and put that weight behind the bipod instead of out front of it. I'll lose about 3.5 lbs of weight to the carbon wrap, but the chassis I'm looking at I can fit about 5.5 lbs of various chassis weights without really adding any significant protrusions at all. It's a bit cart/horse-ish, but I like the idea of pulling the CG farther behind the bipod. It'll make it even more stable than just using a heavy stainless barrel, and the forged carbon barrels just look fantastic. 🤷‍♂️

Probably be better to just use a more modest profile steel barrel if you're concerned about too much barrel weight. Will be way more rigid and have much more mass to soak up heat, than carbon would. Add weight to the stock as necessary.

10 second showdown

It has been a while but 10 seconds would be fairly easy. IPSC guy would be in the 6-7 second range probably faster.
Agreed.

Guessing that whoever came up with the drill had LE and personal defense in mind, a typical IPSC/USPSA comp holster might unfairly remove a quarter second or so. Likewise a comp pistol with a brake and light trigger would have maybe a second to a second and a half advantage versus a typical carry or duty pistol.

The reload is on the move so it really doesn't carry a time penalty by doing so inside the 10 second hack.

Will be something different to try next time out. We will run it with a Level 2 retention holsters and G17s to see how bad we suck.
