Haha, kind of like when I first started doing multi-day backcountry backpacking. I had everything and the kitchen sink while at 11k elevation. Next few trips I went ultra-light!Beautiful rifle. You elk hunt with that one once and you’ll be building another between 1/2 and 3/4 the listed weight. I bet it shoots lights out.
Right after you. Never said they were all bad, I said they were not consistent. And I stand behind that.Step away from the crack pipe.
I get it, but I'm invested in the 300 - and I got married to the 6.5 Grendel. I don't think the 300 BLK is going to change any of that - but - it is nice to see it reach a point where it can fulfill a niche out to 150-200 yards as well as anything else +/-I just sold my 300 BO and built another 300 HAMR.
The BO is series of trajectory compromises I’m unwilling to make, and the HAMR with 130 HOT COR bullets at 2450 FPS is a 30/30 in an AR platform. That’s Bill Wilson’s old favorite. Now that he owns Lehigh, he shoots their bullets.
I don’t have his smack, so I shoot the runner up. He says no pig, deer, elk, or plains game will take a good hit and not die. And based on his record of hunt’s and recent hunts in Africa with the HAMR, I believe him.
Try this on for size, does the bulletin of atomic scientists lie?yea, I dont believe it. absolute, total bullshit.
if you think its real, explain the USS Indianapolis.
why would the military involve a bunch of broads in this top secret operation, but let a shit ton of men die on a ship that was on a mission no one in the actual theater of battle knew about?
you need to spend 2 minutes reading about the manhattan project and how they compartmentalized that project, to know there is no effin way they told a bunch of rando wimmins to go pose for a picture to commemorate the event.
Ha! He did that to me, then sent a text saying, "Ingenuity Precision is trying to call you." I back-dialed the number and he answered, "Oh, now you know who it is." Funny! But yeah, that was nearly two years ago and it isn't funny anymore. If you get a call from a number you don’t notice he will normally hang up and call back immediately and keep it up until you answer
Where does one even look for one of these?I just picked up a new delta 3.5-21. There is obviously a gen2 that's been released without much publicity. This unit has a locking exposed windage, and the glass is very sharp. Better than the sample I handled last month that had the covered windage turret. They also renamed the DLR1 reticle to DLR-3. Weight is 27.7oz on my calibrated scale.

I shoot for the same. My 6.5CM is right at 10 and my 7PRC is a few ounces above 11. I just prefer them at those weights. Much more shootable, and don’t impact carrying for me.I usually shoot for 10-11.5# all up to hunt. I have some that are much lighter, but those require a lot more attention to detail when shooting at distince in improvised field positions.
the quest is over found an e ray 60 miles away at marianna chevy ,they gave me almost double on the porsche of what caddy offered and came down on the msrp . THANKS FOR ALL THE ADVICE View attachment 8747002
