Trump is back…the “Now What” thread

we aren't privy to what is really going on inside. but i do wonder what Patel is really doing. seems to me about 80% of FBI agents should be fired and most of those put in prison. have thought that long time.

6.5 Creedmoor

No, it was through gunwerks. There’s a 60% chance it was one of the once fired since I mixed the 300 once fired with the 200 factory brass I fired. Just kind of a sanity check here, I dont think I did anything wrong that would have caused this. Load process is
1. Deprime
2. Wet tumble
3. Anneal (only plan to do every 3 or so)
4. imperial dry lube on neck and imperial wax on body.
5. Size to .002 bump
6. Trim and chamfer
7. Wipe brass with rag with alcohol on it to remove wax
8. Charge with autotrickler
9. Seat

Hope this is just a bad piece of brass or I figure out something I am missing that caused it.
It could be bad brass, but 90% of the time it is caused by excess head space, either in your rifle or the one your "once" fired brass came from.. If your loading for more than one 6.5 Creed your technique is great, since they have to fit multiple chambers. However, if your reloading for just one 6.5 Creedmoor, your bolt action Bergara, then the best case gauge is your rifle's own chamber.

To do that you must neck size only. Then test a dummy round to see if it fits. If it does, it does not need a shoulder bump yet. If it does not fit, then do a partial FL resize, in small increments, until that case just fits.

You may have a chamber that's on the large end of SAAMI tolerances and a resizing die that's on the small end of SAMMI tolerances. At least this is a easy and inexpensive way to check how your brass fits before you bump it back .002 or whatever. It's trouble shooting 101.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

How do you feel about a china man being there?
who cares? we need to be out of there. let the chips fall wherever. just need to totally drop any involvement there. never should have been involved at all in any way. China wants to help Putin with troops? fine. nothing to do with us. BTW we also have boots on the ground. prob never know how many doing what. prob targeting and sat intel.
i am a bit surprised that China doesn't have more senior people there watching and learning some new moves. pic i have seen of captured chink seemed like fairly jr EM.

Leap years are like wild cards. They can be added or subtracted as needed

Plumbers are a close second to what I have seen HVAC guys do. Third place goes to the shitty carpenters. And a lot of the shitty architects that can't do a plan for either of those trades

Wife wanted quartz counter tops. New top and sink moved the garbage disposal enough the plumbing had to be reworked. I didn’t have time and I’m not a plumber so I called one.

Next morning wife calls and says $850. WHAT? Pay him for the callout and show him the door. Dude calls me and says he’s willing to comeback later and explain.

“Repipe everything, longer line to the dishwasher, blah, blah, blah.” Nope. Thanks for stopping by. One trip to Lowes and about an hour later, no leaks. Returned excess parts for refund. Wife later tells me the guy told her he wasn’t sure he could even do it.

Next day I get a text asking for a google review. Happy to.

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

6x36 I bought last year and this one I just purchased. Sorry but for top shelf optics this is an eye sore!

Edit** I contacted Lisa Welch, sales and operating manager in the US. She is reaching out to Germany to have black caps sent and sending me one. She does have RAL8000 on hand if anyone needs those.

I'm sorry but the plastic childproof battery cap looks gay as fk.

Lets see your USMC M40-M40A6!!!

J

Thank you! Trust me I’m low man on the totem pole when it comes to some on here but I do love the M40 rifles. Definitely my favorite service weapon of all time

Please don't sell yourself short, with a collection like this, you're far from being the low man on the totem pole. Now that I've sold most of my M40xx stuff, I get to claim the low position, lol. You've put a ton of time/money/effort and, most importantly, dedication into this outstanding collection. Your M40xx collection is easily one of the best ones out there, and it would be great to see some more group photos of these rifles.

Looking at your group photo, I can see that you might need a few parts from me to help round out your collection. I have a few different versions of the M40A1/A3 Unertl scope cover and some welded M40A1 transitional scope mounts. That's if you plan on building any of the vintage M40 and M40A1 sniper rifles. I have Major Dick Culver's original USMC M40 available, if you want an original rifle instead of a clone build.

Your collection is excellent, especially when it comes to different variants of the modern M40xx's. Please let me know if you're ever interested in building the older M40 and M40A1 rifles, and I'll do what I can to lend a hand. And we're all looking forward to seeing more photos of your collection!

First post here, but question regarding m855 ammo

Im not looking for absolute sub moa accuracy here. Imi razor core is too expensive per round in my opinion. M855 has always been priced cheaper than m193 every time i go to buy more ammo, and i havent found as reliable of ammo at a similar price to keep stock on.
You can buy PMC Bronze 55 grain FMJ for under .50 cents a round. You use these for practice. And stock them deep, for all manner of plinking around the farm. This stuff is available almost always.

For example:

PMC 223 Ammo

Then buy these for actual home defense for just under $1. a round. A 500 should do you, and last a good long time. This is what you defend your home and loved one's with. This stuff is barrier blind, and expands and stays together. It will also work well of game up to deer or pigs. This ammo can get hard to come by often, so buy it when you can.

For example:

Speer Gold dolt 223 Rem - Law Enforcement 55 GR SP 500 RDS FREE SHIPPING

Will they hit to the same point of impact? No, but they will be close enough, if you sight in with the Gold Dots for serious social work, and use Kentucky windage for the cheaper 55 grain stuff.

If you learn to reload, you can develop 55 gain hand loads for cheap FMJ and component Handloaded Gold Dots that hit to the same POI out to 200 yds or so. That's what I do with Hornady 62 grain FMJ's and 62 grain Speer Gold Dots.

IMHO and YMMV

7 x 5 = 27 🙄😂

Leap years are like wild cards. They can be added or subtracted as needed

I'd laugh harder if the whole thing was caused by HVAC. Those guys are the bane of structural integrity. I don't know what they teach them, but I do know it's not "Ask the carpenter before you hack shit out of your way." I've never had another trade do anything careless without talking to me first. It's the norm for HVAC.

X - Vectronix Shooting Solutions

Appreciate the response, I'm going to play that back with a bit of commentary just to confirm my understanding

Assertions
  • Only two devices can be connected at a time
  • Kestrel can transmit wind, temperature and pressure data to the Garmin
  • Vector X can transmit range, dof and inclination to the Garmin
Workflow
  1. With the Vector X asleep, turn Kestrel bluetooth on
  2. Take measurements - they should automatically stream to Garmin
  3. Turn bluetooth off on Kestrel
  4. Laze targets with Vector X and stream to Garmin Quick Target Card feature (Garmin is doing the ballistic solve)

If I have any of that incorrect please let me know.

After seeing a few threads and countless pages are there any other gotchas to be aware of regarding settings on any of the devices?
I actually never turn Bluetooth on for the kestrel, I find it easier to just input the values manually on the 901 than messing with connecting.

The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I having a surprisingly difficult time finding any info on how to adjust or remedy the extremely heavy 2 stage trigger. This is probably one of the heaviest trigger pulls I have felt on a rifle. It is crisp, but way too heavy. Backing out the set screw on top past flush is a no go since the upper receiver then contact it. I am assuming that the only fix is spring replacements. Is anyone aware of a company selling tried and tested springs? Open to other suggestions as well. Not really feeling like purchasing an aftermarket trigger, so I am working with the factory one.
I use this spring, it works fine. The second stage is adjustable to 500/550 grams (1.102/1.212 lbs).

Tariffs and ammo prices?

 That is getting old...

None of this addresses anything I said. If your belief is he is going about this the right way to get results...fine.
But please detail your opinion on how and why Xi Jinping is going to "blink".
Tired of talking to people like you.
But I know how to get rid of you.

Isn't ther a lib tard place you would fit in better?
