There won't be any hassle with their insurance carrier. The issues will be establishing inventory value and policy limits. The really big issues will be getting permits from the local government to rebuild. That should help Powder Valley get insurance money quickly. Still have to hassle with the insurance companies anyway, but those investigations will help a ton.
Their $$ status, between fire and insurance company coverage returns, will not be easy. Faster insurance turnaround will help a lot.
Thanks. I’ll try that instead of contacting him directly through emails.
Thanks Richard think I'm going to get one of these ordered up, looks like this knife rabbit hole is going to be pretty deep.I have not tried them micarda version, but it couldn’t be less slippery than the polished carbon fibernot that I’ve ever had a problem with it.
I have been thinking pretty hard on ordering a ZT 0562MIC, I just like the micarta scale. seems like it would have a better grip than the CF, is this an accurate assumption. I have a lot of knives but this will be my first good quality knife, it will be used for EDC. is there much difference between the micarta and the carbon fiber.
Interesting, I had heard it was quite the process.Hi
It's quite a long process, as you need to have a justifiable reason why you want to own guns. Then it's a doctors letter, 2 referees and police visit to ensure they have correct storage etc. Some police forces are quicker in this process than others some it can be 4 -6 weeks other 12 months +
There are a ton of great knives under $250, but I also wanted it made in the United States and I was originally looking for another ZT to replace the 0562CF that I thought was lost last year . My ZT 0562CF was my main edc for years and I would not have even looked for a new knife if I didn’t think I lost it on a trip. I grabbed my ZT 0630 (Emerson designed with the wave) to carry and there is nothing wrong with it, but I didn’t love it like the 0562CF. Going down the rabbit hole led me to CRK and finally the Umnumzaan in Magnacut (63-64 RC). Then I went back and forth between the Drop Point which is a more practical blade profile and the Tanto. I grabbed the DP last year and love it but then saw CPM closing and grabbed the Tanto this year as well which I carry now. Another thing CRK does that is uncommon is their Spa Treatment. So when I eventually send in one to get resharpened, I’ll carry the other until it comes back. Having both the sand blasted and glass blasted finish, my DP sand blasted will eventually get the glass blasted finish.
IMO my search for folder is now complete. I have way more folders than I need and my kids should be covered as well.
Now when it comes to fixed blades I like mine in 3V, Magnacut or the new Magnacut variation whatever it will be called. I will be buying fixed blades and Tomahawks I don’t need just because

Crushed egos. Can't cover up stupid mistakes and crushed ego...with emojis....
In this case, lol, I do disagree because almost no stainless touches the chamber to cause any galling...like 99.9%. Most of the SS head hangs in the air, out of the chamber and flat against the bolt face.
Speculation on something you heard about metals, doesn't count much on a product you obviously know nothing about.
With millions of rounds fired in military weapons, and much of thousand fired by me in boltguns and autoloaders...galling is not a problem.
I wish I tripped over this thread sooner....

Honestly I'm to the point of not caring. Not that I want to spend 15K or more on thermal, but 12k? Yeah YOLO if it really would give me the ability to take animals at 400-500yds comfortably with magnification. I can't right now cause of residency. Stretching myself thin as is. I've already explained to the wife the first purchase for myself from myself after graduation is the Halo C assuming it pans out and is out.Yeah he said down in the comments below the video that he is working on one for the TB630. I'm looking at something for mostly 300 yards and in to put in front of a 1-10x and 3-18x. I'd absolutely love to have something like the Eotech ClipIR ELR or Trijicon UTC XII that can reach out further but I'm not sure I want to spend 15K+
I got a good price on the tb630lrf from thermal game management and I’m sure SOK would also be able to get you a good deal.I was eyeballing that too when it was announced at SHOT show. It sounds like it might be able to hang with the big dogs for a fraction of the price.
I've got the money set aside for the Guide TB630LRF already but with Nocpix and NVision I'll just hold off and see for a little bit before pulling the trigger. But I probably won't wait too long since Night Hunting season starts in December and I'd like to have something in hand by the end of November.
