Little over a month away from the match we still have slots available. If you’re coming from out of town both Bernalillo and Rio rancho NM are about 40 minutes from the range, and have plenty of hotel and food options.

Additionally we will be hosting a zero and dope confirmation on the 1000 yard steel range on Friday from 3-7 pm. If you haven’t shot in the high desert, and are headed to Raton for the PRS match later next month this is an excellent to get out and verify your drop!

Could someone kindly provide a link to the best wrap for the top set of legs so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel?

I presume it is largely to protect the outer leg, which is what I would be after. And something that could be removed later if I decided to sell it.

I'm going to give F-open class shooting a try with my SRS in 6.5 PRC. I built a front rest that does the necessary moves and complies with the rules. My SRS is 1.8 lbs. Under the limit so everything should be good. The only thing I saw that is problematic is the adjustable rear rest. They use the front rest to adjust left / right / up / down. Hopefully, if I promise not to use the rear adjustment, they will let me shoot.
Anyone ever try this?

I forget to answer your query on powder. Currently there is no one place I can recommend for powder or primers. They are where you can find them.

But I bought powder & primers in the last few years from:

Gun Broker ( but beware of scammer's)
Direct from Hodgdon
Powder Valley
Graph & Son's

Look for sellers that advertise no Haz Mat fees occasionally , like Natchez Shooter Supply, Brownells and Midway.

For brass I use Starline quite a bit, and Gun Broker for once fired Lake City .223/5.56.

Lapua, Alpha and Peterson Brass are all quite good and quite pricey. And those 3 are almost de rigueur for developing quality long distance loads.

For me I'm old, and no longer formally compete, so Starline Brass (buy direct from them) is my go to source for my "quality loads". But it's a low bar.....

The prices have gone up but this a great hunting scope for 0-600 yards. I have several, both illuminated and non. They can take a beating as well.

Ok... anyone who has an AXSA can you take off the little plastic handguard and take a side profile picture. Then with a depth micrometer see how deep the screws are and show it on the outside of the bolt hole? I'm trying to see if I can mill some of that BS out

You heard wrong. The first batch made it in before the tariff increase and will be shipping from dealers in the next couple weeks according to Euro Optic.

Mars Armament in Sandy Utah does excellent work.

Those scopes listed are all 2nd Focal Plane scopes. So the MOA size of the center dot will vary according to the magnification and which scope you choose.

But just ballpark it: The center dot, according to Leopold's incomplete reticle sub tensions, is bigger than b = Thin Line and smaller then the a = Heavy Line in all the scopes listed. YMMV
