Any chance you could also bring the March and test it out on a different rifle when you go back? That way you could isolate and test the Seekins and the scope mount in similar conditions?

We have a few dealers around town. I bet if you looked for one they are not too hard to find.

I called a local company that advertised online. Went down ,looked at a few containers. I chose a 40' one trip ,one set of doors, and 9 foot height.

The real issue isn't buying one it's getting it delivered. They can be heavy and the driver will need lots of room of they are using a roll off or tip trailer.

Also I painted mine to match the garage. Took 6 gallons of paint.

There are many optics companies that require optics to be sent back to outside of the US, for example kahles and theta go outside of the us for repair work.

March is also working with me to get some optics stateside to use as needed to support shooters who need an optic should they have an issue. Either way the best warranty is the one you don’t have to use and most optics at tier 1 level take weeks to repair regardless of where they end up going for said repair.

I’ve went to using Frank Green’s method of just patching out with Hoppes pretty much every range session which is usually give or take 100 rds. Usually several wet patches, a few strokes with a nylon brush, then a few more patches. Borescope is showing it works pretty well.
Every so often, 5-700 rds or so I’ll deep clean with JBs and really get after the fouling. Patch barrel with kroil, wrap a patch with JBs on a nylon brush and short stroke mainly the first 10”.
This method seems to be keeping me in a happy place. I think keeping up with the fouling using Hoppes makes cleaning easier and only takes 5-10 minutes to do.
I think folks who don’t clean frequently end up with their only option being a nuclear one and could even lead to premature wear.
I just think of all the extra crap my rifles get introduced to the bore; moisture, dust, etc. and can’t help but think all of those things accelerate wear.
