Well, my factory 308 barrel didn’t disappoint with federal 168gr T308T ammo. Shot 5 at 100yds and 3 at 200yds before the rain came down. Next to test is the factory 338 lapua barrel. I’ve got a box of 270gr Hornady ELDX & a box of 250gr S&B match to test. Anybody have experience what factory ammo they recommend that shoots well out of the 338?

That is just bullpucky.

The only way it hurts to warranty a tool is if your warranty expense vastly outpaces your other metrics. If your business is solid, it costs nothing including the shipping.

All this said, if you have stuff that needs replacement, go to snapon.com, fill out the form and they will send you an email with instructions. Most of the time they don’t even want the broken tools back and will ship the new tools on their dime.
No, it's not bullpucky... he did warrantee the ratchet. But it was not a pleasant experience. Why did I not go to the dealer who I bought it from? ...I was no longer in the trades.

BTW... this took place...more then 25 years ago. Interesting enough, a few years later, ...after he quit Snap On and was no longer married, we became pretty good friends. Actually he was two different people before and after, was it the job or the marriage...who knows.

The truck on the bottom owned my soul (for what seemed like an eternity). So when I was still in the trades, I move to a new neighborhood and one of my new neighbors was a Snap On dealer. So I went over introduced myself and asked him to warrantee a Snap On ratchet. He f*cking blew up, "You didn't purchase that ratched from me...WTF!." me; "Dude it's a Snap On. guaranteed for...ever". So for what seemed like an hour I had to listen to his BS diatribe about how he isn't making any money. I looked around; at his house (bigger then mine), his race car, his personnal truck (newer then mine), and then his fat wife walked out...I said thank you and walked away.
That is just bullpucky. I NEVER refused a stranger who had a legit warranty tool. You never know when they will spend money with you. If you’re a jerk they certainly will not.

1 Nephi 16:2
And it came to pass that I said unto them that I knew that I had spoken hard things against the wicked, according to the truth; and the righteous have I justified, and testified that they should be lifted up at the last day; wherefore, the guilty taketh the truth to be hard, for it cutteth them to the very center.

Sharky's Machine is an underrated movie. The murder of Dominoe and Sharky's infatuation with her was copied from the classic noir movie "Laura" with Gene Tierney.

I saw Laura many years ago. Never knew the connection to Sharky’s.

Vudoo closed the doors…

Oh I don’t know about that. I came from a family where the some members wanted to be artist. They did modern “art.” Truthfully, I can’t think of anything that is a greater waste of GOD’s resources than what was put on canvas. Modern “art,” wasting oil and canvas because you can’t paint. Now if you want art, in my opinion, when you go to the dictionary and look up art, it says; “See Charlie Russel.”

James Gurney fits in art as well. He did the Dinotopia books.
