View attachment 8656287Shelia made it through her chemo treatment yesterday, we rang the bell on the way out. It was a great day, that was yesterday.
Today our Dr. found two more tumors.😩😩 More surgery next week.😢😢
Prayers being said for Shelia.
I went through it with my first Akita. We had four more good years together before she finally died of old age.

Tariffs and ammo prices?

Exactly. Enjoy your 400$ running shoes and your 125K basic bitch F150 and then get slaughtered in the midterms and never win another election for the next 20 years because even the most hard core rural voters will start voting dems … for all this nonsense to get reversed anyways. Meanwhile your 401K gets slashed, your allies hates you and have realigned their trade deals with China. Truly this is the power of 6D chess mindset.
Who is going to increase trade deals with China and over what routes?

You realize the US Navy is China’s biggest enabler for trade in-practice? 85% of China’s energy comes from the Persian Gulf (and sea ports protected by the US system), ships around India (China’s biggest rival who shares mutual visceral hate for them), through the Strait of Malacca, up through the South China Sea, and into Chinese sea ports.

China is the most vulnerable in all of this, followed by the EU, Middle East, then the rest.

Beef Industry Sees Some Silver Linings As Reciprocal Tariffs Go Into Effect

"President Trump has announced a series of tariffs, scheduled to roll out over the next few days, on some of agriculture’s most significant trade partners. The outcomes could be a net positive for cattlemen, some beef industry members say."

Five Steel Groups Pledge Support for Steel Tariffs, Applaud Actions

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), Steel Manufacturers Association (SMA), Specialty Steel Industry of North America (SSINA), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and U.S. OCTG Manufacturers Association (USOMA) today sent a joint letter to the president reiterating the steel industry’s support for steel tariffs under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 and for “the elimination of the steel Section 232 exclusion process that has been exploited as a loophole by foreign producers seeking to avoid tariffs.”

Tariffs and ammo prices?

"This tariff increases the cost to 1000 rounds of 5.56 by about $100, and 1000 rounds 9mm about $50. At that point they simply cannot compete in the market against US manufacturing and most likely would slowly exit the market over the next year with the most popular products drying up first."

Who wants to bet that SGA Ammo is using scare tactic to motivate sales like most ammo companies have been doing for years now? I love SGA Ammo and order from them regularly, all US-Made ammo of course when I see deals on 6.5 Grendel.

I know local beef farmers and US steel are rejoicing for once. You know a lot of these countries have total bans on our products so they can protect their local industries, AND they rely almost entirely on the US for major weapons systems, aircraft, gas turbine engines, refined petroleum.

The US is not the Country you want to mess around with when it comes to trade, especially after you have aborted your future in the womb at standard policy, imported savages with the lowest IQs on the planet, are aging, and attacked your own defense industries like they were your enemy.

People are going to find out really quick how unequal they are with the US, and the smart ones have already rushed to adjust their pricing and policies in the US’s favor. To not do so threatens entire industries in their nations, whereas we might not even notice.

A huge thing people don’t understand is that the US is the 2nd largest exporter in the world, and the global system we built will fall apart without our weapons, heavy industries, refined petroleum capacity, airlines, computers, software, firmware, agricultural-processing equipment, while we spend hundreds of billions protecting the sea lanes and straits thousands of miles away from home for their benefit.

These countries then have the gaul to criticize us for having expensive healthcare, while we send them our most advanced MRI and diagnostic medical devices, discounted pharmaceuticals, and related medical advances while our citizens get raped by scheisters in-between us and our providers.

Nightforce Ultramount vs Unimount

Oh, yeah. Those look nice. I went with the nightforce ring topper with the koeng adapter because I liked the idea of the increased surface area with the nightforce top ring. Less chance of messing up the scope tube in the event of a hard hit.

So. Many. New. Calibers.

Not a lot has changed, though I learned over the years I prefer temp insensitive powders, long barrel life, low recoil, higher BC, and great precision, and strong well made brass - or the best compromises of.

I tried all kinds of cartridges for varmints and I sold all except for 223 in AR and kept a 5mmFBI/20VTAI bolt gun which is too good not to have.

Sold a bunch of guns and kept 6mmBR for normal long range distances. It's too good as well.

6.5 Saum is a terror and I got temped by speed so 140's at 3240 fps has been fantastic. Probably just stick with it at this point because the recoil is much the same as my 6mmBR being it's a 24 pound gun.

I don't have bigger cartridges any more but kinda want one for ELR. I wonder which one would be the optimal choice, 375-338L maybe??

Charter captain goes pirate in Florida

ONe of the news outlets is reporting he is a combat veteran ranger with traumatic brain injury.
I am sure someone here can confirm who this guy really is.
I think the extensive criminal record and the list of typical Florida fraudster licenses says all you need to know.
